Well heck, got a bunch of e-mails and that Kaidan one was there. Hmm, also have a rather nice note from Javik...must be from my first playthrough. He seems to be a bit more personable in his e-mails. EDIT: Oh yes, forgot to mention that the e-mails seem to be from certain points in the game, not after the ending or anything. Still, it's kind of fun.

Yeah, I thought that as well. The wording of it either means Ash/Kaidan are allowed to leave the hospital to meet with Shepard but its not sent at the right time or its an ambiguous easter egg.

Could either be relating to the beginning of the game, but judging from the fact that people who didn't get the "perfect Destroy ending" didn't get the message... It gives me hope. Bioware have been working, and this is the announcment that it isn't the end? This is going to start up a whole new ****-storm.

I don't know. I *want* to believe this is important (and be totally jealous because I don't have anything to get apps) - but if this is post ME3, I think they'd say "Shepard", not Commander. Too formal.

Leaked information about the truth dlc (if that is right) now they are doing this datapad thing after the game is over...

can anyone confirm that you only get this after you see "Shepard in the rubble ending?" The only way to see that scene is when u have high enough EMS which means... the forces are holding out long enough to save Shepard from the rubble and regrouped...

so far... both Ash and Kaidan are saying like as if you are injured and you are in hospital bed or something.

It could make sense: if they found the injured body of Shep in the rubbel and brought him/her on a ship with a real good med bay.
and the crew made their way back.. from whereever...

It's hard to be sure when the datapad messages are generated, since they don't have a time on them only a date. And for me, I didn't have the app until the game was over.

I only played through once, Miranda as LI, and got one from her saying "Just heard about the Illusive Man. Wish I could have seen his face. Still getting patched up." Not sure which illusive man encounter she's talking about...if it was the in-person one at the end where I shot him or earlier on the hologram things.

My theory is that that message is a glitch and you're supposed to get that before the game starts.

Read it again with that context in mind. Doesn't that sound like something you would say to a friend who's under house arrest? As opposed to a person who may or may not be alive on a planet you may or may not be on?

Has anyone who beat the game and NOT chosen Destroy, and then started a new game plus, gotten this message from Kaidan or Ashley? That would make it more likely that it's supposed to be coming from the very beginning, when Shepard is under house arrest.

It is very sneaky - could be dismissed as a glitch from while they were in hospital, could be Ash/Kaidan sending an email to a hospitalised Shepard after being found in the rubble at the end of the game.

Thats the first I have heard of someone getting one from other than Liara or the VS not to say your lying but got a picture by chance?

Why would he send Shepard an SMS before rescuing him from rubble. Does he think he has the time to check his phone under piles of rock.
