So I play a sentinel and the only weapon I bring with me to missions is the collector particle beam. Works like a charm.
Except... I'm doing the mission on Tuchanka with the big gun and Cerberus (the one that uses the multiplayer map) and I'm supposed to blow open some hatches to power switches or generators or something and... I can't. The particle rifle doesn't open them. My companions can't open them. My powers don't open them. The hell?
This has got to be a glitch

Do you have the scorpion pistol? I'd slap that on. It will probably do the trick.

Use the Aiming feature and focus on the latch. Zoom in like with a Sniper Rifle.

I remember this part, I was like "Da fuq, do I do? My warp ain't openig this!" Then I zoomed in with my smg on the small squares, spammed bullets, opened. Could have been a bigger target.
