I always though Ashley because of her CG apperance in ME1 and ME3. Along with her romance scene being in the trailer.

Liara is also the only LI who can't die in any part of the series.

before everyone screams "THERE IS NO CANON". and while thats true. the fact remains that if they were to pick a canon shepard the canon LI would logically be liara. so yeah, i guess you could consider her the "canon LI" if you want.

but there is no real canon technically. i mean you can easily figure out what would be canon if they needed to make a canon shepard, but meh. its not important at all.

She definitely has the most developed romance. Fine with me cause she was my LI, but I can understand some dissent on the topic. Luckily for Bioware people are too caught up in the ending debacle to actually complain about any other fault. Or maybe that was the plan all along.

Liara is the only character you can't really say "Oh shut up ffs Liara" (at least for me).

I'm still a Jackolyte tho. Especially after ME3. Gimme more Jack!

liara wasn't in mine. i had ashley in my flashback thing.

I would say so, although there isn't really a canon LI..But if I had to choose here is why:

1. Liara can't die until the very end of ME3 with the rest. (ME1 no one but Wrex+Ash/Kaiden at VR can die, ME2 she isn't a companion).

2. She is the LI of both male and female Shepard.

3. Could argue that she has a DLC just for her is something.

She does make the most sense. What with the being blue, cute and bi-curious and all. She's clearly the choice Bioware intends for us.

Besides, Tali's cute with Garrus. I approve of it.
