Always been a liara fan. Tali is cool too but liara is the best in my book. Also isn't mass effect supposed to be able your own personal story where you choices (lol@ending) matter? If that is the case why would there be a "cannon" LI?

Liara is the only LI that's has the decency to be naked in the romance scene SHE KNOWS WHAT SHEPARD WANTS.

Liara may is very popular, and can be romanced by both Shepard's, but I have a feeling either Tali or Garrus are actually the most popular. And that would make them de facto LIs

But as many have said before, no one is a canon LI

Based on the poll I posted here, Liara seems to be the favorite. She's the only character that was romancible in all three games (well, moreso than Kaidan and Ashley in the second). And c'mon, they made a DLC just for her.

Tali, however, seems to be a close second.

Sorry, I'm just not into the lesbian relationships. Maybe if I someday decide to play as a mShep?

Ashley, Miranda and Tali are all more likely that Liara in my eyes.

Tali is probably the best LI story out of all the options, and has been there 3 games.
Ashley and Miranda are both set up as the "default" choice so to speak in all 3 games. At least it seems that way.

She swings both ways, Tali doesn't.

Even just from forums im pretty sure Tali is the most popular option.

Tali and Garrus supported Shepard since ME1. Shepard says this if you romance either of them:

I'm quite sure that there will be a romance DLC for the LI that got the superficial treatment in the release. I can't emphasize enough how impressed I was at the emotional scenes between Shepard and Liara - both in animation and dialogue. And hopefully they can bring somewhat the same experience to the other LI(unmasked Tali DLC should rake $$$).

I thought the addition of Garrus and Tali as romancible was great. That's one thing BioWare did for the fans, that they definitely did right.

Judging by the fact she is probably the single most significant companion throughout the entire series, yes.

Couldn't find the conduit without her.  Would of stayed dead (or worse) without her in the comic. Without her becoming SB you wouldn't of been able to do many of the things you do in ME3 thanks to her networked support.    Plus, with dlc, shes the only LI to have romance building through all three games. 

The other LIs?  Well, they're pretty much all entirely negatable.  Significant, but still negatable.  They can all die and the story goes on, simple as that. 


There is no cannon romance, but do I feel good my lovely blue gets the most attention and significance?  Heheh, yes.

When I played ME1, I picked Ashley but her ideals was kinda not appealing to me, so I started new paragon male and picked Liara. I had a feeling she will be perfect and was truly amazed by her part in ME3...best ever....

I wish she was real....

lol if she was real I cannot even imagine how high the competition would be. It would still be awesome though
