The Little Irritating Things Found In Mass Effect 3

-The Scanning system and how it was too much like fishing.
-Bioware's obsession with the Avenger and Predator (didn't have this crap in ME1 or 2)
-The Drawing and Holstering animations in cinematics (I dont keep my pistol on my back!)
-The gauntlet that is the normandy's cockpit.
-Glitchy conversations (like that one with liara)
-The lack of dialogue in general.

I agreed with every one of your points. That F****** reacurring predator and avenger is starting to get real old. Its completly kills immersion. How do these weapons appear out of thin air all of a sudden? Space Magic?

Yea, seemed like they got animators and riggers straight out of college and cut half their QA testers to cut costs... the amount of issues like this occuring is inexcusable for Bioware

I play the game and sometimes it takes days or a week that I pick it up again....now where was I... pfft ok, journal not updating, especially for those dumb fetch quest. So everytime I can use a new system I'm scanning it so I can see next time if the system is at 100% or not.
Then again, there are some systems that don't show any % progression so eventually I just have to scan them again to make sure I'm not missing anything.
And that is really frustrating.
Also standing behind EDI at the helm and get stuck there.
Also the weapons in cut scenes. Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't had that problem in ME1 or 2. My actual loadout was shown in cutscenes.

What about the fact that Multiplayer is Necessary to get the highest value ending(s?). Plus, EDI being a squadmate. Couldn't you have given us someone actually interesting as a squadmate, Bioware? EDI's a good character, but she's a really boring companion, barely ever says anything interesting or has any relevance (even with the Geth missions, bizarrely), and they could have replaced her role with someone interesting or from the previous games.

- That horrible dream sequence. It isn't thought provoking, it isn't interesting, it doesn't add anything at all, and is extremely annoying, I have to run in slow motion to watch a kid get set on fire with a crappy fire graphic. Great. If you want to do a better dream sequence, how about having dreams about LI getting turned into a husk, or something? At least do something to change it up.
- The Relay Boom, although I haven't had this problem since I reinstalled, I have no idea what I did but I'm glad it's gone.
- The checkpoint into the war room. All this stuff about it replacing a loading scene is crap. There's a door right next to it, why don't they just make it so the door won't open until it's loaded like they did with other areas? Still not as bad as the decontamination in ME1 though, and at least the different decks load faster than ME2.
- The new big*** font for planet descriptions. It's kinda annoying to me, makes me not want to read them.
- The Cover system. For the most part it feels smoother than ME2, but when it messes up, it messes up big time.
- The part on Rannoch when you have to kill the Reaper with the targeting laser doodad. It's not hard, it's just annoying as hell.
- During the little argument dealie-o's I'll click to support one of them, and then the dialogue will play out like I clicked on the other sometimes.
- Lack of squad members. What was the point in narrowing down the number of squad members again? If it really was to "focus" on certain characters more, they blew it big time.

-the ending sucked
-Udina
-Cerberus
-The Illusive Man
-Rachni decision or lack there of
-Synthetic vs. organics theme (mainly because i just proved the Geth were the victims, not the aggressor, and EDI fell in love?)
-not seeing war assets in any ending cinematic
-not seeing every single squadmate in any ending cinematic
-day 1 dlc (Mission was short and character was stupid)
-lack of ME2 squadmate closure
-ME3 was too damn short
-too much auto-dialogue
-the dream sequences
-the scene at the end with Shepard, Anderson, and Illusive man makes no sense at all
ive got more im just trying to think, these are off the top of my head

Best list I've seen, I hated the dream sequesnces too, with how I colored my shepard looked like Megaman running through a FEAR game..... if you put glitches on that list, Diana Allers, would be perfect

That didn't bother me as much as the other things, cinematics I have no control over, but issues in game, yes, really do. And cmon, everytime you see a chest high wall, you know an ambush is coming, not really any surprise anymore.

The scanning system which is basically guessing....you don't really get any clues on most of the scanning missions....if there were clues, I would have enjoyed the scanning more. Because it would force me to read the codex or read those little planet descriptions and figure stuff out.
And the cutscene weapons. It pissed me off that EVERY SINGLE squaddie was carrying that crappy assault rifle. Immersion is a big deal in games like this, yes, I want to see EDI whip out her scoped Scorpion.

The omission of the weapon holstering. And because of it, the immersion is completelly broken. It was part of the gameplay since the first game.
EDI's oversexed appearance.
Ashley's characters complete rewrite.

After all, the quantity of fuel you find is variable; it could be as little as 50 units or a much as 750.
From a realistic standpoint, while there wouldn't be a way to know exactly how much there is without collecting it, it would be entirely possible for EDI to make a rough estimate. That way, you could decide whether or not to collect it based on your current fuel level.
The doors closing behind you is quite a hassle.
It's odd that the descriptions for each floor on the elevator in Mass Effect 2 indicated what squad/crew members were there, if any. I can't imagine realism was their concern, since this wouldn't be difficult, at all. Even with today's technology, it would be entirely feasible to track which persons of a known group were on which floor, especially with such a limited number of people across only 5 floors.
Don't even get me started on the journal...(oops...too late):
Combining the Quest and Mission tabs was unnecessary, and adding the Codex to the Journal was doubly so. More "streamlining," it seems. (I wonder how long it will be before their own flawed logic is applied to their business structure, and BioWare is dissolved.)
As you accurately pointed out, the Journal entries are not updating. It's almost as though the player has to keep a physical journal to make up for the shortcomings of the one in the game.
Yeah, the Mass Relays do seem a bit loud, but I think that has more to do with the rest of the game being so damned quiet. Seriously, going from ME 2 and ME 3 requires turning my speakers up by 75% in order for me to hear anything...other than the Mass Relays, of course.
As far as system scanning, don't bother attempting it if the perimeter of the system is red. Regardless, it's really not such a big deal. Personally, I always Quick Save before scanning if the cluster is occupied by Reapers. That way, I can always start over if I ****** them off before finding anything. Even without the Quick Save, I just do my best to evade them. I come in as far as I can, scanning along the way, and make an exit (also scanning along the way.
The thing you have to remember is the direction the Normany is pointing while out of the system will determine where at along the perimeter you will end up once you enter the system...e.g. pointing up will put you at the bottom, pointing left will put you on the right, etc.
Those physics issues sound quite troubling. I had a similiar problemwith Liara in London. We were fighting off Husks, Ravages, Banshees, etc. while waiting for Cortez: for no apparent reason, Liara was stuck with her arms and legs locked. She still moved around, but more like a chess piece than a character.

You wouldn't know that the first play through. Anyone who's played Mass Effect 2 and 1 would know specs in mid space could be a wrecked shuttle craft you could explore or a moon... which on the first playthrough assumed atleast one of them that that would be the case. And how would I feel if there was one or two hidden space shuttle exploration blips I missed because it could be a fuel depot? I'm saying when you search and find a fuel depot. Should ask, do you wish to gather fuel instead of jamming the hose in my ships bum and let the excess fuel spew from me like a nasty bowel evacuation.

I recall a few instances where my Shepard had an Avenger Assault Rifle in a cut scene, even if my combat class precluded me from even equipping one.
Sadly, gone are the days of games like Baldur's Gate, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Dragon Age: Origins, and Mass Effect 1 and 2.
If we're lucky, BioWare will learn from their mistakes before they crumble under the weight of their own hubris. If not...well...it doesn't look like Besthesda suffers from RCI (Rectal-Cranial Inversion). They seem more deserving of loyal customers, anyway.

I love the game myself and can look past the minor issues such as cutscenes even though i know they're there. it's not a game breaker for me. Also I must be lucky since I've not encountered any of the well known bugs listed in this post. For example, I have tried to get stuck behind EDI/Joker but have never managed it! For me, ME2 was way more buggy but as I say, I think I'm maybe a but lucky there.
I do have some moans though:
The fetch quests - in the middle of a massive war I should'nt be running errands for Tom, Dick and Harry!
On Rannoch, I went toe to toe with a Reaper with a laser targeter so that a thousand ships could struggle to bring the thing down. Yet on Earth I did the same thing using 2 missiles strapped to the back of a truck!
Aso on Earth, Shep spends time wandering about chatting to old comrades and so on, whilst the fleet in orbit are being obliterated. Surely the need is to get to the beam asap. The catching up and saying goodbye should have happened before they got to Earth?
In ME2 Samara tasked Shepard in tracking down her Ardat-Yakshi daughter - one of only 3 remaining in known existence. Yet in ME3 we have a monastary full of them which the Asari knew all about.
There shoud have been more hub worlds and more side missions.
There was too much auto dialog and not enough red/blue options or interrupts.
What was Jacob doing at the hospital? Being a useless idiot when he should have been working for Adm Hackett. And that Turian general you get weapons for - he sends the entire game sat on a bench!
I would have loved to team up with a few of my ME2 squadmates on their resetuve missions. How cool it woud have been to have Grunt on the squad on that Attican Traverse mission. Or Samara with you at the monastary.
Why the hell Miranda spent the whole game running and hiding when she coukd have had protection on the Normandy. Especially as you converge with her at Sanctuary anyway.
I'm sure I could add more but as I said, it doesn't detract my enjoyment f the game. Jst a few more months of final polishing would have made a lot of difference to many I think though.

Actually, I would know, since I've only made one playthrough. It didn't take long to deduce that anything the pulses find that is barely visible inside the red marker ring can only be space debris, and the only thing to gather from space debris is fuel. The graphic representing the space debris is easily discernible from everything else to be found with the pulses, which are all large enough to readily indentify as either an asteroid, a planet, or a moon. You wouldn't know that the first play through.
Nothing explorable found in space in ME 1 or 2 resembled space confetti on the map of its respective solar system.Anyone who's played Mass Effect 2 and 1 would know specs in mid space could be a wrecked shuttle craft you could explore or a moon... which on the first playthrough assumed atleast one of them that that would be the case. And how would I feel if there was one or two hidden space shuttle exploration blips I missed because it could be a fuel depot?
As far as searchable space objects, a moon is going to be represented by a noticeably larger graphic than specs of debris, even without closer inspection.
Also, why would you refuse to search something you find simply because you're worried that it might be a destroyed fuel depot?
If you found an object with the pulses, good.
If you see said object without trying too hard, it's going to be either a planet, a moon, an asteroid, or a space station.
If you can just barely see anything inside the red marker ring, it's going to be a destroyed fuel depot.
