I played the game with a good human
female noble warrior. I began the game being purer than pure, always
doing what was right and not what was easy. Fairly quickly my character
and Alistair fell in love, but Morrigan and I did not get on that
well to start with.
As the game progressed Morrigan and I became a good friends, and
Alistair and I become even closer. However events throughout the game
seemed to conspire againist this romance, and I found I had to choose
between my morality and Alistair.
At the end of the game I got the guy,
became queen, and lived happily ever after. But keeping alistair required me to
murder an unarmed man, put the wrong person on the throne, grab power for myself, and make a pact with
Morrigan which almost certainly was going to end up causing some pretty
awful evil in the long run.
The other big morality choice was killing Howe, I just couldnt let that b******* live.
Thats what I liked about the game, everyone was forced to choose a priority and make some tough choices by the end to see it through.
Going to leave the game for a while until the third add-on is released
at chrismas and play it through again.
What was your characters story? *SPOILERS*

First time through - human mage. In love with Alistair. Saved dwarves, mages and elves. Saved Connor in the fade.
Anora and the Landsmeet screwed me over, fought Loghain. Made Alistair king, he promptly dumped me. Then killed himself against my protests. I wouldn't even listen to Morrigan or consider her deal.
Cried. Read some spoilers.
Made human noble rogue. Same plot. Was good. Saved everyone I could. In love with Alistair. Talked my way into being queen. Took Morrigan's deal. Happy I lived, but sad to see Alistair's face when he slept with her. Eeew. Not satisfying other than in a revenge sense.
Third time through:
Elven rogue. Hardened Alistair's personality. Kept relationship with him after Landsmeet and making him king. Saved right before Morrigan's deal, finished the game both ways. Also recruited Loghain in one try and then reset.
I made an evil male mage that unlocked blood mage and reaver, sided with templars, werewolves and branka....slept with everyone he could, and then didn't finish because I felt I needed to take a shower and just go play with Reaver spec.
Fourth time through:
Male noble dwarf. Reaver and Berserker spec. Still as good as can be. Romancing Leliana. Looking forward to my eulogy when the time comes.

I think my eyes welled up about four times during that game, the decent voice acting and plot makes it pretty emotional at times.

First time
<- Human Noble Tank Warrior
Saved Connor in the fade, the mages, the elves, sided with Harrowmonth. In love with Leliana, but went to bed with Morrigan and Zevran (Achievments get the best out of me).
Loghain killed by Allistair, Anora refused to be queen with him, Allistair imprisoned her in a tower and I died killing the Archdemon, denying Morrigans proposal.
Always answering the way i felt, without reloading any save.

first time city elf - did most things good, sided with Harrowmont, destroyed the anvil. Refused Morrigan's offer, was in love with Leiliana, took the killing blow and died. Had a very touching funeral. Alistair wound up as king and did good things for my people, so I was happy.

Human male mage -->
betray Jowan by revealing plot to Irving but later recognise his usefulness and save him from problems in redcliffe and get him freed-->
condemn connor for lols, gain blood mage by accident and realise its amazing -->
allied with harrowmont in orzammar because more likely to support you out of massive gratitude at being royalty being given to his house -->
save mages, ally with mages -->
argue with wynne, wynne leaves party -->
side with Cult of Andraste -->
gain 100 with Morrigan *sigh*, love (lvl 8ish) -->
become best friends with Zavran to the point where he asks to sleep with warden -->
explain truth to alistair (harden alistair) -->
side with werewolves -->
save anvil -->
take bribe of ~20 gold and letter of Implication from Tevinter Imperium at alienage for letting them leave with slaves (interesting between-the-lines massive similarity between Tevinter and Imperial Britain) -->
have Alistair execute Loghain -->
make Anora queen, Alistair head of Grey Wardens -->
take Morrigan's deal -->
ensure Circle's legal independence from Chantry -->
go off in search of Morrigan with Zavran as friend/bodyguard.
amoral char with full coercian/spirit entropy and cold heavy build.
dont think i got a single influence negative hit with Morrigan except tense conversation at 100 about relationship.
also ended up maxing out influence with zavran.

Dwarf Noble, betrayed and exiled.
Failed to save Sten, never got Lelianna to join group.
Overall a good guy, helped the Circle of Magi, saved the Danish and lifted the werewolf curse. Went on to save Red Cliffe, Connar and Arl Eamon.
Returned to my home, destroyed the anvil of the void, killed Branka. Brought Shale to her home and took revenge on my brother who betrayed me.
Zevran Betrayed me, and was killed by Shale.
Romanced Morrigan, agreed and had a child with her, slayed the archdemon and became heir to the Dwarf crown again.

In both my plays thus far one as a male city elf rogue and the 2nd as a female human mage my PC has become Alistar's chancelor both times. Both plays I sided with Harrowmont and Caridin and on the mage playthrough I was thinking almost all along that she would romance Alistar marry him and become his queen I had completely forgotten about that ridicilous rule that mages can't be royalty....sheesh.
Anyway there is some possible redemption for female mages who want to be queen as at the end you find out that Wynne is taking on the role of mage advisor to the throne, or was it fist enchanter? I can't remember now while writing this.... anyway Alistar already sees her as a "mother figure' which bodes well for things to change for mages in Ferelden society because Alistar is now king with you as his chancelor which makes you ruler in all but title. So yes at the end I do believe with the PC's and Wynne's influence on Alistar that mages could at some point down the road have their social status elevated considerably.

First playthrough, saw three different endings (by reloading saves from before Landsmeet and before fighting the Archdemon), so I'm going with one of the better ones I got.
Female city elf rogue, first aspired to become an assassin/duelist, but later changed her mind to become a ranger. Played her as a "good" character at first, then she began to get sick of being moral and good all the time and began making some choices that were questionable, or what seemed fun to her at the time.
Met Alistair, Sarthen (Dog) and Morrigan, and then met up with both Leliana and Sten at Lothering. For the treaties, they decided to travel to Redcliffe first, eventually sending them to the Circle of Magi. On the way, she fell in love with Alistair, despite the fact that he was a human and she was an elven rogue. Got up to +100 and love with him just before retrieving her first treaty from the Circle of Magi.
At the Circle, she sided with the mages so that she could stay on Wynne's good side, and allowed the desire demon to leave with the possessed templar. From there, she and her party traveled to the Brecilian Forest, where, on the road, they were ambushed by Zevran's band of mercenaries. Spared him, allowed him into the party despite Morrigan and Alistair's protests. Throughout their adventures in the forest, she took the time to get to know Zevran a little more, and they became fast friends.
In the forests, she decided to side with the Dalish elves, but after hearing Zathrien's story, decided it was best that he end the curse and kill both himself and the Lady of the Forest. The werewolf curse was broken and the cured werewolves, now in human form, went their separate ways after thanking us.
Our journey then took us back to Redcliffe, and then on a search for the Urn of Sacred Ashes. Zevran confronted me in the temple (after I clicked on him by accident), asking what was going on with me and Alistair. Having to make a choice then, I chose to stay with Zevran, as he just meshed better with my own elf rogue, and she enjoyed his company, though she never slept with him until he initiated it. Dumped Alistair and felt terrible at the heartbroken look on his face when she did so. Continuing our journey, we retrieved the urn and killed the high dragon, before returning to Redcliffe and saving the Arl. Saved Connor by sending Morrigan into the Fade.
Orzammar was the party's last stop. Sided with Bhelen and Caridin, and destroyed the Anvil. Left Orzammar, finished up their business in Denerim, and then prepared for the Landsmeet. At Landsmeet, all but one group sided with the Wardens, and after dueling Loghain, she chose to spare his life and recruit him into the Grey Wardens, much to Alistair's dismay. He then threw a tantrum and left Denerim before the battle even started.
She accepted Morrigan's offer to sleep with Loghain, and during the final battle, she took with her Morrigan, Zevran, and Dog, along with her trusty animal companions. After defeating the Archdemon, she chose to stay and help rebuild the Grey Wardens. Her companions went their separate ways and Alistair became a drunk...and Zevran opted to stay with her and help her rebuild the Wardens, even though he never officially joined.

Human Noble 2Handed Sword wielding engine of destruction.
His main philosophy was: By any means necessary.
He threatened to cut the Reverend Mother to save Sten, Alister was not pleased, but Morrigan clapped her hands in nearly child like glee. This was the beginning of a beautiful friendship, and at the same time the turning point in my relationship with Alister who by the end started responding to my questions with "What do You want?"
He sided with the Mages of the circle, because lord knows Templars are just this side of worthless. *glances at Alister who flips him off when he thinks he's not looking.*
Killed Witherfang without hesitation. Spirit of the forst/ Demon, it's all the same to me.
Put Behlan on the Throne because Harrowmont's a wuss.
Killed Branka and destroyed the Anvil of the Void because one Shale is more than enough...
Saved the Bloodmage in the Redcliffe dungeon and sacrificed whatshername in order to save the boy. Then rolled his eyes as Alister pitched a fit in camp about it.
Allied with the Cult of Andraste, destroyed the ashes, killed Wynne and Leiliana since they got all pissy about it, then turned on Kolgrim and took his axe before killing his precious dragon.
Saved Loghain and let Anora execute Alister. Had enough of his whining by that time, if she wasn't going to kill him I was.
Killed Zevran who was foolish enough to turn on me.
Took Morrigan up on her offer and sacrificed Loghain to kill the Archdemon.
And it all worked out great in the end. Gotta love happy endings...

First:
Chaotic Good Female Dalish Rogue (Ranger)
Loved Leliana
Sided with the Mages
Saved Isolde (although her codex entry still says she sacrificed herself..)
Sided with Harrowmont
Convinced Zathrian to undo the curse
Did not desecrate the ashes
Convinced Alistair to marry Anora
Sacrificed self to save the world
Current:
Neutral Good Female Human Warrior (Champion/Berserker)
Believes in the Maker
Loves Alistair
Sided with the Mages
Siding with Bhelen, just for a change
Will side with Zathrian and kill the Werewolves, just for a change
Will not desecrate the ashes
Will save Isolde
Will convince Alistair to marry me
Will spare Loghain, because it's the right thing to do (poor Alistair)
Will allow Loghain to sacrifice himself
Next:
Neutral Evil Male Elven Mage (Blood Mage/Arcane Warrior)
I'm thinking maybe the Harrowing didn't go quite as well as my superiors thought..
Beds Morrigan
Sacrifices Isolde (and, obviously, Connor)
Sides with the Templars
Sides with the Werewolves
Sides with Harrowmont, then gives the crown to Bhelen anyways
Desecrates the ashes
Hardens Alistair
Promises Alistair the throne
Installs "I shall be King" mod
Convinces Anora to marry him
Spares Loghain, just to ****** Alistair off
Agrees to Morrigan's plan
