All those poor souls without internet connection would have bought a game without an actual ending. Depressing, really.
I thought that, I'm guessing it would be in CD form that they would problaby have to pay, this is getting me excited, really strong signs pointing towards this, IF its true then it would go down as the greatest gaming achievement ever, actually indoctricating us!
Well... considering you also need to do multiplayer really to get the "best" current ending..... and it's the year 2012.

It's a fine plan. Most of us would then buy the ending, maybe the ME3 other content.
And then never touch bioware again with a 20 foot pole.
Exactly.
Why get involved in a universe if they're just going to flush it at the last minute?

Javik's main drama point of being the last of his kind is averted by a bunch of random protheans appearing out of nowhere? Wut?

Nah, it would probably be polarizing (by the actualy definition). I'd be fine with it.

Consider all the gamers who are running ME on Xbox Core/Arcade or still have the small 20GB HDD Version. They will be pretty pissed. The Stoned Volus wrote...

Or think about what a huge load of people is needed to pull a stunt like this in secret (i.e. the Microsoft guys from the XBL market). I'm sure the whole dream/indoctrination/hallucination-theories have a very existence because there are a lot of inconstintencies but I doubt that Bioware/EA would make such a ballsy move.
Just take a look at the gamestop racks. They are full of ME3 copies and the prices for both new and used copies dropped already 10 days after the release significantly.

that would hurt them more than the endings are doing in my eyes its like they used the whole end of the game just as advert for dlc to make more cash out of us but I have a really bad feeling this is what they are doing with all the talk about what they have planed and the message on finishing the game about buying dlc

Prothean Clones! The fake, dead Protheans Javik warned us about!
Or it's fake made up by some troll on an image board.

Would be your own fault for resorting to such immature response.

Why would they release "new classes" at the utmost end of the final game of the trilogy? Doesn't that seem fishy to anyone? And how would they fit 2 new "sets of enemies" (which isn't 2 enemies, it's SETS which means a lot of enemies) into the ending? The crucible is primed, Harbringer is nearby, how could two sets of enemies (more than 2 enemies, probably 6-10 at least, new enemies) fit into that moment and the reapers losing?
The picture, which is the strongest argument of the rumor, shows Geth, Batarian, Krogan, and Asari... which are definitely by no means "new" in the context of the game... they are, however, "new" for MP -- which is something Bioware will definitely develop. It's the feature of the game that is meant to have players keep playing... they NEED to introduce new things to MP. As far as the "2 new sets of enemies," who knows how much truth there is to that.

He did point out there were a ton of them and he was upposed to lead the team. Until some of his own got indoctrinated, I'm not sure how many casualties there were but that doesn't really say no one but him survived.
