After rescuing the soldiers I went back to claim my reward from Barla Von at the Citadel. He thanks me and tells me that the Shadow Broker has authorized a finders fee as a reward. I don't get any money or reward whatsoever. I did however pick up the xp, about 120 I believe. The same thing happened with the Ismar Frontier: Protoype component quest. The Salarian in the Citadel med bay didnt give me my reward, which I believe was a war assett. I hope both these issues can be patched retroactively.
