Too many times I have come across opinions
such as “it is their (creators) game” and “they can end it the way they want”,
the supporters are acting like crusaders defending the creators of the game.
Many people rebut with “it is our game as well” but I want to look at it from a
different perspective.
Most of us know that twitter comment by
Mike Gamble and regardless of the relationship between that comment and future
DLC, there is one thing we can be sure, the game did not end as the developers
planned and the end should have been much better. Plus by common sense, how can
you accept that the writer of the other 99% of the fantastic story in the game
(majority of fans do agree other parts of the game are pretty good) will
deliberately think of such an ending that is trashed by 90% of the community. In
my opinion, to think that the developers of the game will come up with this
ending given sufficient time and resources is more insulting to them.
Demanding a solution to fix the current
ending is NOT attacking the creators of the game. Quite the contrary, we plead
that the creators should be, given enough time and resources, able to give the
conclusion of this trilogy the way they was planning. After all, the game is at
least as important to them as to us, it is their child.
a fix is in the interest of both fans and developers
