I like them all, but City Elf stands head and shoulders above the rest. If I had to rank them based on my personal preferences, it would go something like this: 1) City Elf; 2) Magi; 3) Dwarf Noble; 4) Human Noble; 5) Dalish Elf; 6) Dwarf Commoner

I find gender makes a huge difference for me, personally, probably because I tend to RP more than just 'play'. That's why I have at least twelve characters going at any given time (in various stages of completion), and love to experiment with the outliers (City Elves that take Vaughan's bribe, for example).

Still, my first full playthrough was a F!City Elf, and I still have a predilection for that origin. I enjoy all of them.

I can't just pick one. I've enjoyed them all. I love mages and the human noble was emotional. City elf was good and so was Dalish. The only ones I've never been able to finish are the dwarven ones. But i've only been playing 3 years so i still have time.
