What would you do if Bioware made another awesome game completely unrelated to ME universe, and never visited it again because so many people are unhappy enough to boycott without giving them a shot to get all the information? Nothing. They could leave it as it is and never mention Mass Effect again. DO I think that will happen? no. But they COULD DO IT. And nothing you could say would change that fact if they chose to do it. So have some class, and tell John concrete reasons why you didn't like the ending, so maybe they have information to assess possibly fixing your problem? much more sensible.

I'd be done with Bioware for good.
I don't dare hope that their next game wont let me down as well.
They can do whatever they want and so can I.
If that means cutting all future ties with them so be it but I been made a fool twice now and shame for buying a video game is not something anyone should go through.
Besides I think the reasons behind why we dislike the ending/s have been said to death and this is after all the none spoiler section.

I would like to say thank you to John and Stanley for being the first people from bioware who are actually willing to give any kind of serious discussion on our concerns. We have been met with stone cold silence since these issues arose and it is nice to see that we are being heard. Even if you apparently do not understand our issues.

Let me be clear. There are a number of threads, reviews, youtube videos and other sources which pin point exactly what literary problems there are with the endings. I have yet to see anyone who was able to argue against these claims with any measure of success.

But that isn't my question. John Stanley. I understand that you cannot give us any official comments. But please, can you pass on our concerns. Let the developers know that we have a simple question. Is an ending DLC in the works or being considered? We're not asking what the DLC might be or how detailed it might be. Just if it is something that is on the table. Or if we're going to have to just be happy with what we've got.

It's a simple question, and one which I think in the age of DLC content, a question we're entitled to an answer to. At the moment I feel like I have purchased an unfinished game. So I would like to know is some kind of conclusion to Mass Effect 3 is coming my way. Thank you for passing on this request.

I think I could have tolerated the ending(s) if they had some measure of closure, but they have none. In fact, they go so far as to not only end Shepard's story, but quite literally end the Mass Effect universe. At best, this makes the endings seem all negative, and in probably an unintended twist, makes the Reapers out to be the "Good Guys", in certain light.

But that's irrelevant. The Mass Effect series was driven by the characters, and not having any degree of closure in an ending is perhaps the single gravest mistake in writing the series has seen. Considering the whole "Thermal Clip" Fiasco, that's pretty severe, but doesn't have the luxury of being able to be overlooked for sake of gameplay.

I wonder if the ending has anything to do with Karpshyn not being the lead writer.

Yea, I think everyone has already seen this, there was even a fairly big(grammer fail) sized thread on it.

I think you will find that they wont able to confirm or deny it at this point in time. That's just how it is in that industry until the go-ahead for an actual announcement one way or the other comes from the higher ups, and they wont give that go ahead until they have made a decision for sure.

They mind as well take out the word 'like' and just leave it to what people disliked about it. Then again, it should be obvious what people dislike about it.

I liked certain aspects of the ending.  Arrogant of you to say this.

Man, you do not write "grammer fail" and not type "grammar" properly, that's just asking for it. ;)

Someone already said it, (Probably more than one person), but if Mass Effect 3 had Ended before a certain Elevator takes you into "WTFLAND", I would have been content.

YES I actually thought that as well.  The WTF started before that but the true WTF was there after that.

They sold us an incomplete game. They owe us an explaination. They owed it to us before release.

That's harsh.

I may not like the end product, but that doesn't mean I want him to lose his job. First, because that wouldn't fix anything. Second, because the blame game doesn't get us anywhere. There are some faults with the game (story-wise and technical), but I want them to fix things, I don't want heads to roll.
