Seeing that the ending was such a terrible mess, will you go to the Mass effect movie if it is released?
Or will you go only if they change the ending to the game?
Will you watch a mass effect movie now?

i dont think i can trust anyone to direct this series without majorly completely destroying the mass effect experience. i just cant trust anyone with anything to do with mass effect right now other than the mass effect hold the line movement i just cant.

I wouldn't be surprised if they put in an intermission and made people buy another ticket to go back and watch the rest of the movie.
Also, no.

So I can watch Shepard dive into a space magic blender and make bs smoothies out of every organic and synthetic being in the universe at the end? No thanks.

It'd end up being turned into a Transformers knockoff by hollywood anyhow. Now that i know vega is the focus of the anime i've lost interest in it too

Never did.
Live/Action Animation are horrible representations of video games. In my opinion CGI is the best way to go, but at the moment most Video Game adaptations film suck.

Depends, if they can sort out the endings with some explanations and closure, I'd be all up for it.
Even with the endings as they are now, I'd probably go - Its Mass Effect dammit, what if Garrus is there?

If I get to watch it for free, I'll heckle the other viewers and basically act like a nuisance until I get thrown out.

No thank you to a Mass Effect movie. How would that even work with an RPG?

I'd as soon watch a bowl of ice cream melt. At least the ice cream wouldn't leave a bad taste in my mouth when it was done.

Even if Bioware changes the ending I'm not going to see Mass Effect movie. The series brings the player into the game and the movie medium just take do that, so that takes away almost everything that makes ME what it is as a series.

This sounds crazy but what if the movie takes place after the third game and that is the reason they ended it with the pick the color ending.

If its directed by a really good director, with good writers? Then heck yes (doubt its going to happen considering all video game movies are terrible).
Anyways, movie tie-ins rarely follow the plot of a video game movie.

I have no interest in the franchise as it currently stands. All it would show me is Vega's ramp up to being like everyone else on the screwed list.

I fear there'd be too much temptation in a film to show us what the Quarians look like under their masks. Unless it's set at another point in time. Though being set after the events of the games make the use of the name 'Mass Effect' a bit weird.
Also, if it is based around Shep, then it'll immediately polarize the audiences due to the choice of Shep's gender. I personally think we have enough bald space marine dudes... in space to allow a beloved character (even if not actually bald) to be thrown in with that generalization, so would hope for FemShep. Also because women are more awesome
