What's the point when I know how lame the ABC endings are going to be on the big screen...
Will you watch a mass effect movie now?

Considering the movies will be the same story as the games, and since I have no desire to play through the games again with the ending currently as is, why would I watch the movies to arrive at the same conclusion?

"hey guys you're going to watch the Mass Effect movie?"
"yeah! so exited!"
"Shepard dies at the end and doesn't even save the galaxy, have fun!"
The only way I'm going to a cinema that plays a Mass Effect movie

I would not have watched a ME movie, even if the ending of the trilogy would have been alright.
Why? Because my Shepard is my Shepard. I cannot watch a movie with a guy pretending to be Shepard when he clearly isn't. My Shepard is dead, he died on the Citadel after a crapalicious finale. End of line.
Plus, Hollywood movies are hollow, they're empty and they don't convey any meaning at all. So why even care?

Unless I get some kind of closure from ME3 I couldn't bring myself to watch a ME movie... not sure which hurts more

I didn't want a movie to begin with, I've always been a little bit annoyed by how it's suddenly all about churning out action figures, books, comic books, movies, apps, and whatever the hell else they can think of.

Doubtful. Shep is female after all, a movie w/ manshep would just be odd.
Maybe watch'em on TV, or as part of some cheesy sci-fi movie night.

... I'd watch it if they can get Brandon Keener to voice Garrus.

I was never going to watch this anyway.. especially if it's based on ME1 story arc with Shepard.

No. I'd be disinclined toward a movie even if ME3 had ended well (though might have still gone anyway).
After THIS fiasco? Unless BioWare straightens up, nothing tagged with Mass Effect will get another cent from me ever again.

No, then again I didn't want to see the movie anyway because you can't pick what happens in a movie.

i wouldnt have watched a live action movie any ways. Mass Effect should be 3d animated...perferrably by the same studio that has been doing the cinematic trailers.
im not sure i want to watch the ME anime....it is being done by a Japanese studio (a good one) but in a way that caters to a western audience that like certain Japanese anime series/style (rather the westernized anime-style). It wont work!!! hmm....let me attempt to clear what i mean up... It will be done in a fashion that WE think is Japanese Anime...but is actually American/Canadian (whatever) animation done by a Japanese studio that they believe Americans/Canadians want
X-Men, Wolverine, Halo, and Animatrix came close...but still came out flat imho. Dragon Age...i wont touch!! A mature animated series animated by a Japanese studio written by and for westerners is the way to go. It worked so well in the 80's.

I will if someone of Nolan's calibre directs it and Casey Hudson promises to keep away.

Maybe if Garrus calibrates the movie? Probably not though. Making a movie out of a game is usually a bad idea, even if ME3 had a super awesome ending. I just don't see it being well made.
