I wouldn't watch it regardless of the ending to ME3.
Any Shepard portrayed in a movie is NOT MY SHEP!
Will you watch a mass effect movie now?

...I would rather wait and see. But the chance of even bothering to see the movie is quite poor; if it even manages to come out that is. Chance of game-inspired movie ever being successful or actually have a good plot/cast/etc is really really low. Most of them every time I watched turned out to be.. quite [s].

MASS EFFECT THE MOVIE-
BEGINNING SCENE,
SHEPARD'S DEAD BODY LAYING IN FRONT OF HACKETT.
"HE DIED A HERO"
SCENE CHANGE TO LA-LA LAND WHERE THE NORMANDY CRASHED.
TALI AND GARRUS LAY DEAD
JOKER SAYS "THERE WASN'T ANY FOOD FOR THEM"
FAST FORWARD 30000+ INTO THE FUTURE ON LALA LAND
"SHEPARD DIED MAKING SURE WE COULD NEVER HAVE INTERGALACTIC TRAVEL AGAIN"
THE END.
In short.
No.
I will not be seeing this movie unless the ending is changed.

Nope. Wouldn't have watched it anyways, since I don't want what warm, fuzzy feelings I have left towards Mass Effect after ME3 to be ruined by someone else's interpretation which is bound to be god awful.
They should make Vaenia instead.

No point to one. The franchise is dead.

I may borrow it from the library when it hits DVD if the library is unfortunate enough to get it. But if dubstep is anywhere near it or I realize the only person who wasn't CGI is sheperd its over...
Which is sad really because before this madness I would have watched it in the theater on principle.

I was excited for it originally. I remember they said it would not be a regurgitation of the video game's story, but even if there was a new story I'd feel like, "what is the point?"

I never intended to see it in the first place. Mass Effect was about the player making choices.

I'm not sure I would have in the first place. I mean, if it involves characters from the games it would be hard for me to watch it as I associate the characters so strongly with their voices.

Not a chance, because to describe the sheer epic fail that is the series at present, you'd have to have Uwe Boll direct...

ROFL No.
The entire ME1 plotline has been destroyed by Space Casper - literally. I wouldn't watch the movie for the same reason I'm not playing ME1.
Having said that, IF they fix the ME3 ending then I'll definitely be watching the Mass Effect movie (provided the cast looks good etc.)

What would the point be? They - fairly definitively - set the franchise on fire.

I may check out the movie ... after seeing the trailer and stuff. I'm pretty sure the movie will have different stuff here and there.

Well, I wouldn't have watched one anyway as it wouldn't have been my Shepard. Though I suppose it's possible they could do a Shepardless movie. I would watch that, though not with these endings.

I don't know what does one thing have todo with another. Though I wouldn't give a damn if ME movie is bad or has bad endings. It's just a 90mins time investment worth 5-10 bucks in your favourite cinema, and has very little emotional involvement other than passively watching the lives of people you don't know.
It's very diferent from the 100+ hours, heavy emotional involvement and 150-300 bucks we've all spent in the ME videogame trilogy.

Seeing that the ending was such a terrible mess, will you go to the Mass effect movie if it is released?
Or will you go only if they change the ending to the game?
Right now? No. If they fix the ending? Probably.
