if the writer gets rid of Space Magic...maybe
Will you watch a mass effect movie now?

Only if it's directed by Uwe Boll...
After all, multiplying by two extreme negatives always results in a positive.

I wouldn't have watched a ME movie before ME3 anyway.
I don't really see the point. ME is (apparently, not so sure now) about the choices we each make as individual players, so each journey through the ME universe is unique to us. This is something that can only exist as a video game; the notion of making it into a film defies the whole reason the franchise exists.

Watch the new hd trailer for Prometheus! It looks JUST like the ME universe.

I can see the rest of the colours using Photoshop, no need for a movie though

I don't see why I would.

I wouldn't watch it even with a good ending for ME3. If they insist on placing a male as Shepard instead of doing something original, then they've lost me. That ain't my Shepard and I have no interest in watching someone else's story on screen. That simple.

it's a video game movie. what do you think will happen.?

No, I'm not interested unless they make a new ending for the game.

In a matter of fact, I think I would. The curiosity would get the better of me. Seeing how they made the Turians, the Krogan and everyone else.
And beside... I don't think they'd make a movie based on the games. Perhaps a movie about The First Contact War?

I was never planning on seeing it in the first place. Even if I did like video game movies, Mass Effect is about the player forming the story. I prefer my headcanon over seeing the game cannonized on screen.

They will release DLC to promote main "star" (like Felicia Day ) and then whole thing will be bad as it was her movie/series.
Simple as that.

I am really worried over the Mass Effect movie. The games were written by a Core Team and several Lead Writers, the Mass Effect movie is written by the same guy who wrote Jurassic Park 3 - worst movie ever. It can trul end in disaster, but at the same time I am sold on Mass Effect, I just want more every day. I would see it.

Yes, yes I would. The universe is spectacular, the characters are superb, it'd be worth watching. Even if Michael Bay directed it, I would see it.

No. Movies based on video games are never good. Well maybe if it is on TV and I do not have to pay for it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they put in an intermission and made people buy another ticket to go back and watch the rest of the movie.
Also, no.

Not if the endings stay as they are. The end to ME closes the Mass Effect IP with such finality that anything further, prequel or not is utterly pointless.

EAware shouldn't even talk about a movie after the bull**** they just pulled with the ending.

I would have gladly supported this on release day, but now, I'm a bit more weary. Think I'd wait for the reviews.
