Tali dies even with paragon intervention?

So did I just not activate the paragon response in time? Or does the paragon response not save Tali in this situation even when it is activated?
That's all I wish to know. Thanks for your time.

There are a couple of other "failed" persuasion checks like that like trying to stop Mordin with a paragon interrupt.
If you do it right, you can save both the quarians and the geth though.
It is possible to fail to bring the geth and quarians together, and you have to pick one. If you pick the geth, they ravage the Quarian fleet and Tali commits suicide. If you pick the Quarians, Legion gets angry and you're forced to shoot him.GeneralBacon339 wrote...

That combo is the only one that prevents you from rallying the two sides.
Paragon interrupt never works.

How about a "talk everyone down and THEN let the Geth use the upgrades" option?

You need 5 points to get peace.
2 for not getting teli exiled
2 for killing the geth in me2
1 for making tali and legion not fight in me2
1 for saving the admiral
1 for completing the geth side mission

i think he's referring to the paragon interrupt that makes shepard lunge towards her as she jumps off., not to the paragon dialogue choices.
If so, then no Tali can't be saved by that. It's just there, probably to make you feel even worse that you couldn't save her.

There are more. Never doing Legion's loyalty, or recruiting Legion. Not doing the other Ranoch missions and saving the Peace general.Xion66 wrote...

Peace is done by a point system, of which certain actions give you points. Not enough points, no peace.

I just went through the scene where Tali commits suicide due to the rushed and unrealistic dichotomy the player is forced into where he has to decide if the Geth eliminate the Quarians or vice versa. I chose saving the Geth at the cost of the Quarians. So Tali intentionally falls from the cliff, and the paragon intervention mechanic shows up. I'm not sure if I right clicked in time (I was laughing with a bit of irritation at the ridiculousness of the entire situation when the paragon intervention opportunity showed up, so I wasn't prepared and thus my reaction time was slow), because despite Shephard's attempt to save Tali he wasn't able to reach her in time.
So did I just not activate the paragon response in time? Or does the paragon response not save Tali in this situation even when it is activated?

I think that decisions from ME2 and how you handle the conflict here determines the outcome. This is the best outcome possible:

Sorry, Renegade night.
Know how you feel. I´m really paragon when playing ME, and in my ME3 game, Tali died and the Quarians where wiped out. I was devastated.
But I can understand that getting peace between this two cultures is really hard.
