I was going to ask the same thing, but then I remembered that my father and brother let me play Diablo and Doom when I was younger than that...Grimez7 wrote...

Just say men can like men, kids aren't that stupid. They don't unlearn things. And if that is against your personal belief, then I can't help you with that explanation.

Does a 6 year old even know how to read well enough or have a high enough vocabulary to even know how to play this game? Getting all the way to the end by himself is something that I really don't see a 6 year old doing by himself. Plus, the game is pretty hard even on normal mode. Heck as an adult, I sometimes died a few times.
I'm thinking this is a fake thread.
In all fairness, I was reading when I was 3. But I agree, I'm inclined to think this is fake.
Then again, I watched my 6 year old cousin last week dominate his online game matches on Black Ops

I did see a kid about 8 at EVO (huge world beat'em up competition) and he got really far. He actual dominated some of the best in the world at marvel vs capcom.
Edit: the vid

Why is he playing any of Mass Effect, the entire series of which has already had (a) an M rating, and (Manny_619 wrote...

Parenting is serious business.
I been ignoring/deflecting his questions and forbid him from playing ME3. Hopefully, he will forget the whole incident.

Maybe Mass Effect turned him gay. Call Fox news right away!

Who is the bird monster? Garrus? How are you going to explain the part where Shepard has sex with a bird monster? That is going to be a toughie.
Not Shepard."Daddy, what is the prize?"

Most of the game is voice acted, so it doesn't matter if the kid can read or not. And some kids do learn to read before that. I was reading by 4 years old, and I'm not just talking about Dr. Seuss. I'd read everything I could get my hands on, to include attempting to read newspapers.
I do think this thread is fake though. Because I don't see a kid that young getting far enough in ME3 to be able to run into Kaiden's romance, even on the easiest difficulty. It has nothing to do with the kid dying from difficulty, but more that the kid might not understand that they have to go to this place for the next mission, being unable to manage the controls as well, etc.

Edit: Course, this is all dependant on this topic being serious. Jury's still out on that, I think.
