I wanted to see how other people reacted to this if you sided with the  geth. When he dropped onto the ground my eyes wattered up a bit and just sort of sat there saying "What...?" to myself. Then the geth prime walked up and said to me: "I'm sorry. He is 'dead'".

So I just said "what...?" to myself a couple of times until my face became soaked in tears. I was so depressed. I really did have a feeling that he was going to be a squadmate, like you could choose between him and Tali. But was I alone in grieving over the death of an animated synthetic character from a videogame? I really did fall in love with him, almost as much as Garrus and equal to Ashley...

Just thought that I could relate to somebody on here. :( I miss Legion explaining geth to me in the AI Core.

The phrase"Does this unit have a soul?" will always make me want to cry.

Legion died on me in ME2. I did feel bad when I had to side with the Quarians against the Geth, but by that point it was too late to forget two games worth of bigotry and hatred and I wasn't going to sacrifice Tali for some toaster, no matter how sorry I felt for it.

Legion death is sad...But he is now more alive then ever before. He now has a soul. But have one means to die. And he used the last of his life to uplift his people. My he rest in piece.
That unit has a soul.

For goodness sake, you didn't have to put the spoiler in the thread title. Couldn't you have put "the ending of Legion's story" or something?

I was gutted, just like I was when the others died too.

The scene with Legion's death was my favourite part of the game.

I love Legion. I don't know why but for me he was always so cute and adorable (I know, I know synthetics blablabla). My maternal instincts always kick in when I speak to him.<3 lol

And I was crying when he died. Seriously. I would sacrifice all quarians if it would make Legion stay alive...

One of the spoilers that was thrown my way by mean people was that Legion was going to die. At least this meant I was prepared for it, unlike the others. I was pretty sad about it though, he and Thane were my squad through to the end of ME2, both did me proud in ME3 but it was sad to lose them.
Would have loved to have him on my team again :( calling me Shepard-Commander like the old days *sob*

It was very moving. I also liked how he called Tali by her first name, when she answered the 300 year old question. He also referred to himself as "I". A well done ending to a well done chapter in ME3.

Man, when he said, "I know Tali...Keelah se'lai" ... I collapsed into a pile of tears.
Also just him referring to himself as "I" instead of "We"

Sad, very sad, never enough time with Legion. A good death though - he died to uplift his people. I loved the stuff before hand in the thingy (me being vague to avoid spoilers) and learning more about him.

I have to replay ME2 with him modded in again - nothing like a whole game with the bro-bot to cheer me up. "Friendly fire!"

(Sort of related -  love that Geth air-drop out of the shuttle.  Legion you hero!)

I've always had a fondness for BioWare's robots, and Legion is hands down my favorite.  My poor robot buddy :crying:

Manly tears were shed for Legion as well as Mordin, Thane and Anderson. I'll miss my Brobot more than anyone can imagine

It was sad to see Legion die D: , but at least he died trying to help unite the quarians and the geth for a common cause -- to defeat the Reapers. R.I.P. Legion, you'll be greatly missed.

Thankfully I was able to make peace, but the whole geth story was probably my favorite part of the game. No way I can end all synthetic life, especially after that. I kind of had a feeling he was going to go... he will go down in history as the first geth to realize itself as a individual part of a community, not just a self-conscious collective.
