I have been playing DAO quite a lot recently and this made me compare the characters in the story with previous ones from other stories, very curious in regard to your favourite 3 characters of all times in various RP games and ofcourse wether any DAO characters are among them.

Mine:

Morte : Planescape torment

Deekin : NWN

Minsc & Boo : Baldurs gate.

You know, I've read here that Allistair can't be romanced by a guy, but he was perfectly open to my flirting with him with double entendres about lampposts. I think I actually made the boy blush! Hilarious! One of my favorite moments ever in an RPG!

As for favorite characters, I couldn't possibly limit myself to just three, but just for starters:

1) Jaheira, Baldur's Gate (How long must we WAIT here? Yeeesss, oh omnipresent authority figure?)
2) Gavin, Baldur's Gate G3 add on (Why did it have to be SPIDERS!? DAMN my clumsiness!)
3) Tomi, Neverwinter Nights (Here comes halfling death!)

In no particular order:



Morte (Planescape: Torment)

Sulik (Fallout 2)

T3-M4 (Knights of the Old Republic 2. (Yes, I know he was in the first, but he had actual character in the second).





Hmmmm. Alright, they are in order. Though if I thought about it, I'd likely swap out T3, and possibly even Sulik. Morte though, I don't believe will ever be toppled from his throne.

It's quite hard to like characters that are dead on arrival.

1. Kefka Palazzo from FF6. There has never been a villain as bad ass as Kefka.

2. Guldan, from Warcraft, although it wasn't a RP at the time, he still has extensive lore.

3. Magus, from Chrono Trigger. He was just cool. It was either him or Frog as my 3rd choice.
