And an honourable mention to the Bard from Bard's Tale (the more recent version). Snarky, sarcastic and funny, and so very, very, politically incorrect.

Alistair is good too but I would need a top 50 list to mention all the characters I have liked.

Bishop (NWN2) - complex, corrupt and sexy character



Sand (NWN2) - loved his witty sarcasm



Minsc/Boo (BG series) - "Magic is impressive, but now Minsc leads - swords for everyone!!!"
