Differences between leaked script and final game?

I'm too lazy to dig up the leaked script and read it, especially since most of it is the same as the final game.  But I would like to know what changes there were.

I know that there originally was supposed to be a mission on Omega (side mission?) and that was cut.  But besides that.  What about the endings?  Romances?

I'd really appreciate it if someone who read the leaked script and played the final game could tell me what differences there are.

It's a hard document to navigate through, since it's not arranged in a linear fashion. I did manage to find the part with the ending, and the ending is exactly the same.

I didn't even know there had been a leak until this week's ending bruhaha. I heard they received criticism for it at the time. Does anyone know what the criticisms were? In other words, did they stick with that ending to be contrary? Or did the criticisms make them run with that ending?

I really expect there to be an Omega DLC. It's just too good of a scenario to pass up. I think we should all adopt the Aria T'lok pose and speak to everyone while looking straight ahead.

An extremely detailed version of the endings script provided a much more satisfying epilogue. With Shepard emerging from the Guardian's ruins if alive and being greeted by their LI and Anderson, with Anderson recounting what had happened (e.g. How bad Earth took it, casulities, how well hammer and sword did, technology, relays, etc.) while SHepard and their LI cuddled.

I've started compiling some on Tumblr; will add to it with more detailed references as I replay ME3.

The script cut out before the bit with the God-Kid, iirc. At least the part I read never mentioned it.

Most of the changes are mid-game: Kasumi's quest, Thane, and the Udina coup were more tightly woven together, There was a squadmate death on Thessia.

that thessia death would have been interesting. well unless it was liara then I would not have liked it but killing say James would have been welcomed.

If that had happened it would have been my favorite game of all time...

but unfortunately it's my greatest dissapointment.

Except when I was 5 and realized santa wasn't real. That was a hard day my friends.:crying:

lol :P

The ending appears to be extremely rushed at the point where you go to confront Cerberus, that could be the reason why this ending was scraped.

@infraredman: . . . Santa's not real? :crying:
