I honestly despise posts like this, espeically the all caps. I would love to see a true ending to mass effect series so I didn't feel like I wasted 100+ $ and hours on the game series.

I'm sure as hell not buying another BioWare game if they don't change the endings. Hell, if they change them and charge, I may not buy another BioWare game.

Don't patch it. Rather, add to it.

Don't change a thing Bioware.

Also, no business will be lost. These whiners will buy any DLC, and they certainly will buy ME4, or ME: Miranda or whatever.

OMG your psychic....... Tell me my future.

For those who do not want anything added or changed. Why does it matter to you? You apparently recieved the ending you wanted, did you not? So why should we not be allowed to request an different ending?

It most certainly is not their story.

I assume this person plays on auto dialogue (yes, there's an option in the game that makes all of the choices automatic, so the player doesn't have to make them).

Yeah, right, just ignore the reason behind the "whining" and create some BS strawman argument to sell your cause. But whatever, ignorance is bliss, right?

We're asking for optional variations on the ending, not a replacement.

If you've missed it, Total Biscuit said it quite well:

Hey, they don't HAVE to do anything.

But there is a reason they are called STARVING artists.

The can keep their artistic integrity... except of course that the ending wasn't 'clever', or 'smart' or anything, it was just stupid and illogical, but hey, they can keep to their 'vision'...

Or they can keep a whole lot of customers.

The choice is theirs.

Exactly. It's just like Star Wars. Everybody hates Star Wars for Epi 1,2 and 3 and yet, everyone went to the cinemas to see them.

And troll? Just because I disagree with you? Grow up.

So essentially you're saying that BioWare should just ignore what the majority of their fans want because they already have their money?

You're not going to make many friends.

But I wanted to ask you: Don't listen. It is not to listen because the story is yours, you are the creatores or w/e.

<now you can throw the stones at me>

Xusa I think I understand some of your points.  However when Bioware promises something then they start losing the ability to just tell the story they want.  They NEED to tell a story that conforms to the promises made.  Nothing less than keeping your promises is acceptable.

It's as simple as that.

I still don't have an opinion on the ending but at least the ones who hate it are being a little more respectful than this when they make there points. Just coming out and saying what you think as facts isn't the best way to go around sharing your views, especially with this topic!

There are people wanting to change the ending, you say? What an amusing concept. I'm sure they must be a tiny minority. I will go over to gloat over the misfortune of these misguided individuals now ... HOLY GOD THERE'S SO MANY OF THEM

It's kinda sad the majority of people want it changed and have wrote out well thought explanations as to why it's so terrible.

And the few detractors, the best they can come up with is "nu-uhh!" *sigh*

Ohh well, the world can't be filled with deep thinkers.

The ending is an atrocity filled with plot holes, a dues ex machina, and empty promises.

Nuke it.

Although I still believe they have a real ending planned and have had one from the beginning.

What I don't understand is why users ARE OPPOSED to more content? Because people ask for it? Where is the logic in that?

Thats essentially is what everyone here is asking when you get down to it, and I am all for additional content, especially if it takes the replay value of ME3 right now, which is 0 and boosts it up to a 10.

Here is the thing. I don't like the way people have overreacted to the endings. The fans have been downright irrational and ridiculous but at the same time something should be done about the endings so we can have a satisfying sense of closure and we should have the possibility of keeping the relay network intact thus preserving galactic civilization. Now because of the way people have hyperoverreacted to the endings bioware might lose business because of it and well if they lose business that might mean no more mass effect content in the future be it DLC or future games. Thing is I like Mass Effect so I want more Mass Effect content in the future and as much as I hate the idea of appeasing whiners the sound business strategy would be to do something that brings back customers so we can have future content and I can have more Mass Effect.

I do respect your opinion, however I feel (as well as many of my fellow fans) that there was a lack of closure. Bioware promised closure and I feel I didn't get it.

Also, seriously guys insults and snarky remarks? That will only get you the same in return. If you have a point to make, you can make it without those comments and then your more likely to be taken seriously. Otherwise your more likely to be either ignored or you'll rub someone the wrong way which can cause flaming.

I think an indoctrinated ending is brilliant.  However, I would still like to see the actual victory and aftermath
