I guess locking her in as my romance was a bad idea for a "Happily ever after with LI" ending. Not that it mattered looking at what happened at the end of the game.

Well either way, you can even get a full romance with her if you are not interested with the rest of the options...which is fitting I guess ? Much better option than Jacob
From what I read on ME Wiki, she has many dialogues after full romance, I am still searching Youtube for them though
From what I hear her romance is basically a promise to meet up with her after the war.
Which considering what happens to Shepard and the entire population of the Citadel including Kelly is basically a double-troll spectacular.

You'er making an assumption without certainty. There is no way to know for sure. She could have fled the citadel before the reapers took control of it. So yeah your snide sarcasm is based on assumption and not fact. You could be right and she could be dead but you do not know that.

I figured she joined the Crucible team if you got the war asset, so she and the engineers weren't on the citadel when they popped up.
