Sorry, I had to do that for old time's sake.   It seems like ages ago when I found out this game was being developed, and I remember hearing many rumors of it's release date, which kept getting pushed back.  The earliest rumor was December 2006, which was obviously WAY off the mark.  This is an epic Bioware game afterall.

Then Bioware announced a release date of March this year, and pushed it back to November, and I was like, well, I've been waiting 4-5 years for this game, what's a few more months.

I wonder if it will re-capture the magic of Baldur's Gate II.  NeverWinter certainly did not, and BioWare's other releases, Jade Empire and KOTOR, were good play-throughs, but also didn't touch BG II.  BioWare states that this is the spirtiual sucessor to Baldur's Gate II.  So I trust, that if they had made a Baldur's Gate III, it would be something like this.

At least in the US and Canada. On Friday the 6th in Europe. And on the 19th in Australia. The PS3 versions will be released on the Nov. 20th. 2009.



Bad news for German, France, and Poland. Due to either a logitstics problem or a problem the pressing, their regular games (on dvd) won't be released before the 19th of November 2009.



Steam, Impulse and D2D versions might be released at a different time, though. But still SOON.
