Trolling at it's finest...

Actually most are just voicing an opinion, and asking (notice the word "asking") BioWare to PLEASE, fix the ending.

That is in no way throwing a fit like a wierd looking baby.

0/10 I've seen better trolling on /b/

So says the person who is "Asking someone" to kill themselves.

You realize you're saying this in the thread demanding an apology, right.

When did I ask you to kill yourself?

There are more ways than one to jump off a bridge you know...

But that's beside the point, you've been low-balling people all night and using game registration to invalidate someone's very valid opinion.

Getting back to jumping off a bridge, I did just that last summer. It was actually quite fun...

There was closure to it.  You finished the war.  Exactly how you finish it is even still up to you. You may not see it played out in every happy or unhappy little moment but it does happen.  All explained to you by a 12 year old ghost child of the Citadel before you choose. You were also get to see the end of Shepards story one way or another. That is exactly what was advertised and promised.

I see a lot of people throwing fits over a lot of things. One of the biggest one about the endings is people having trouble triggering a 3 second clip that is somewhat spoilery and really doesn't add up to the fuss people are causing over it.  It really doesn't strike me as the best ending at all personally.   I prefer a different ending to that one.  Shepard coming back for the Next ME game in whatever form it takes if it happens is exactly what we were promised wouldn't happen.

Since this is the NS section, it's not good form to discuss these things here.

But, you'd have to have completely ignored most of the implications and many other story elements to think there is closure. Closure is not opening up a dozen other questions before the credits roll. Closure is Mark Wahlburg killing Matt Damon at the end of The Departed,

Actually I don't have to ignore any implications of the story elements and such to say that there was closure.  All the Closure we were promised was the War and Shepards story. That does not actually entitle us to any real or full details of what the races got up to after it was done.  We do know whether the Earth was destroyed or saved in the endings. We do know it's the end of Shepards story. We do know that the Reapers were stopped.  These are the closure points.     Anything beyound that is quite frankly up to the storyteller whether they want to fill in or not but by no means a requirement to create an ending for Shepards story.  Since we are playing it from the perspective of Shepard and Shepards fate is at the end of the story. we cannot from his/her perspective know anything beyond that. It would all be exposition on the part of the storyteller. Which they chose not to do.  It is also a great premise for another game in the future to actually show us from a completely different persons perspective what happened to the Galaxy in some form or another with an entirely different storyline picking up at some point near or after Shepards own story.

Perhaps one of the children talked about or shown in the series survived and continues the next tale for all we know.

If you want to be honest and Actually go with what most people are doing, No many are not asking. many are being quite demanding that Bioware has to change the ending and that they will only buy things or this or that or the other if their demands are met with endings that they prefer.  There are a few that are asking yes, but they are a minority on that particular issue.

Apologize for a great game just because people have issues solely with the ending? Eh - no.

Instead of providing a formally apology, they should concentrate on fixing all the bugs in the game.
Some examples:
- Some missions are broken (Hanar on Citadel)
- Character models in dialogues fail to have eye-contact (look to the extreme right or left)
- Unlocks in multiplayer are resetted

Fix those first - quickly. I haven't finished the game yet (have to work), but these things annoy me a lot and give me the feeling Bioware really rushed the completion without proper quality control.

And for DLC-policy: look what Valve does. DLCs, even full campaigns for free. Amazing! I am very willing to pay for something like the Shadow Broker DLC, but was very disappointed by "from the Ashes". Do it properly and charge or do it half-assed and release it for free.

Long-term customer orientation seems to be not a top priority at the moment.

I think that's enough nastiness, swearing, name-calling and insults for one thread, thank you.

End of line.
