Twelve days past since I see you in the last time, for now many things became clear to me.I understand I was indoctrinated, voices in my head, they lie to me "Your choices will make effect on ending" "Everyone gets his, at some kind, personal ending" "Everyone get what he want" "We know what you all want" "Kill Marauder Shields" "Kill him and you will get what you want" I thought I have no choice but to shoot you, voices force me to do this. But I know that I was wrong. I must to tell you about Liara, I'm with her since first met in ME1 at Terrum, and despite the fact that I must to start romance with a begining in every part and my ME2 romance with her don't even count she's perfect, I love her, and want to spend rest of my life with her, and so she does. We talk a lot about children with her, it was a few hours before I met you my friend. You know, Marauder, in those final hours I already started to think that after we win in this war, I can leave Alliance army and live my life in some quiet place with Liara and our children. My friend Garrus, maybe you know him, you are very much alike, anyway he told me that when we win, need to go on some sunny beach and have ultimately good rest, I think it's great idea. And voices keep whispering to me "You will be with Liara" "You will have kids with her" "A lot of little blue children" "You, Liara Garrus and all your team will celebrate your victory on sunny beach" "All you need is to kill Marauder"
It all was before I met you first time.... it seems so long ago............
I almost forgot to say that My closest friend Garrus and my love Liara leave me near of the beam, I'm sure those voices who promised me good endings do that dumb thing. After that I meet you beside the beam, I understand at once: THIS MAN HOLDING THE LINE. But I shoot you and after that I face the colors of "bittersweet endings" (First time I choose the red one). I thought I made a mistake in first time, and try it second, forgive me my compatriot Marauder, one time I shoot you because I was foolish, but the second I cant forgive to myself (Choose green and it was even more dumb). Then I realize that voices screw me there was only bitter end and three colors of it. In that moment of truth i finally understand MARAUDER SHILDS held that line for me, he wants to save me from bullcr*p
For now I'm in the way to Rannoch I will try again to bring peace between Geth and Quarians. I will done it second time, and this kid told me its impossible, as**ole. If all goes like it must to be I see you soon my friend. And you will done it this time, you will hold that line, I promise you, I will not shoot. Your the best man, long ago Saren try to do the same thing as you but he was selfish and just shoot himself, and Harbinger talks way too much, but never told me that his creator is a GodBoy, Illusive Man try to be original but finished like Saren. And only you just hold the line, silent, trying to do your best. See you soon Shields. Take care yourself.
