I've been trying to buy 'From Ashes' for the past couple of days but I can't even add the bioware points I need to download it.

I've tried to add them both through Origin and via the Bioware website but I keep getting this message after selecting my payment option in both methods:

General Error

An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later.

I'm trying to pay by Paypal but I know the problem's not on my end because I used this exact same method to buy some ME2 DLC just before ME3 came out. I don't even have any alternative payment options because the Visa Debit card I originally wanted to pay with isn't accepted apparently, even though it's never been rejected by any other website or store before.

When I got this error yesterday I just thought it was a temporary problem with the server or something but the fact that I'm still getting the same message suggests it's not going to fix itself.

Any advice?

I get this too, so you're not alone. Also using paypal.

Oh, and it worked yesterday.

Hopefully it's fixed soon.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. 

In order for us to look into this can you please send the following info to ME3QALaunchSupport@bioware.com

• Your Origin username
• Your Client_Log.html file from Origin just after the problem occurs. Usually found at C:\\ProgramData\\Origin\\Logs
• The version of Windows (XP, 7 etc) you are using
• The country you are located in
