I am yet another person who hates the ending. Most people here are being very civil toward the devs, and that's great. Some others continue to make threads saying "I'm quitting Bioware games if you don't change the ending' etc etc...this gets us absolutely nowhere.

In fact, it probably makes them less likely to change anything.

I'm begging you...stop making it "us vs. them" and painting the devs as evil money-grubbers out to crush your dreams.

Yes because continuing to pay them for something that didn't live up to any of the lies the Lead Producer told pre-release is a logical method of attempting to get them to see our side of the argument.

It's not a threat. Its informing them of the probably consequences of their choice.

Also, appealing to their bottom line is the only leverage we actually have, which is why so many people are as vocal as they are on this ultimatum.

What's wrong with consumers saying they will no longer purchase products from a company they've become dissatisfied with?

It's not a threat. It's the terms of business.

It doesn't really matter if it's fact or not, because even if you stop buying games, chances are the success of ME3 overall will lead to an increased fanbase. You saying "I'm  taking my ball and going home" probably just makes them roll their eyes and think of you as someone who is impossible to please, a lost cause.

Instead, just continue to make it known how important this series is, how much you love it and how much you WANT them to fix it. That is something I'm sure that will appeal to them more than "do what I want or I'm leaving"

96%+ of people have not threatened Bioware, only expressed extreme disappointment and at very most have expressed sentiments of non-personal apathy toward the series' future or Bioware at most.

You think we'd even bother to do this stuff if

Bioware Said : Hey , We know we kinda screwed up but we are here to fix it with our master plan free DLC. You will finally get answers and know what happened.

So, we should just suck it up and keep throwing money at them? Even if they make horrible games from here on out?

It's a basic consumer response, really.  If you're truly dissatisfied with a product or service, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to keep giving a company your money.  They don't learn anything that way.

That's not a threat.

I didn't go see Phantom Menance in 3D either.

The ending sucked.
Let me ask you something, do you perceive that as a threat against someone?

Thankyou OP that is what I have been saying. People wanting to see the endings changed is fine. People wanting to financialy threaten bioware and financialy threaten the franchise thus threatening future content is not fine.

NO. Read my posts.

There's nothing wrong with making your disappointment known. I've been doing just that all along.

Demanding things and making ultimatums is not the way to go about it. It's hostile in nature and probably makes them LESS cooperative.

Is BioWare entitled to my money and patronage?

I think stating the obvious is far from a threat.

Someones threatening them? That's new. I thought fans were nicely bringing up what's wrong with the endings and why they feel cheated.

That's their decision to make. Without customers buying their goods, they have no income. If they think they can do without the income of those people who will no longer purchase their goods, that is their risk to take.

However, I think that you underestimate how much business they will loose from their fans not only not buying their products, but also warning their friends and family that BioWare lies about its games in order to sell them. Also, if we just purchase their products anyways, we are apeasing their attempt to sell us a product about which they lied.
