Lets see if Harbinger can aim his death beam at a Vanguard zipping around the battlefield like a flea on crack...

Same here, I had the end spoiled to me by watching a friend play. I was hoping if I could avoid his beam... things would be different....TheMadBlimper wrote...
I did my best not to get fried by the ship-killer laser beams, thank you very much.

I dodged like mad, since that made sense in relation to the rest of the game. How was I supposed to know that's when the game stopped making sense?

sure had some sacrificial lambs to draw fire, but hell, one or two people could have flanked the thing and gone through the rubble and come at it from the side, may have made for a harder target, and not draw as much attention...

I just found it absurdly retarded that they would all mad rush it in one mass in a wide open path...thats like " kill lane 101" the whole idea would have had Master Tsu doing flips in his grave

I'm sure they were going for the "storming the beaches" feel.
And you can't really flank a Reaper, so...

I would've laughed if you could get hit and get Critical Mission Failure.
And have the game uninstall itself so u can feel like u really let the whole galaxy down.

I dodged. You fought a reaper earlier in the game that shot beams at you. How am I supposed to know this isn't some scripted encounter?
Me too. The game set precedent that when reapers were firing at you, you must move as quickly as possible from side to side to not be incinerated.
I realized about halfway through the encounter that these reaper explosions were merely 'for show' so I slowed down a bit to take it all in.
