Sadest moment of my gaming carreer, when I noticed his good intentions. He is the true hero of Mass Effect 3. Shepard didn´t even try to save us, but this brave creature sacrificed his live, to rescue us from the upcoming depression.
I salute you Marauder Shields.

Marauder Shields was one of the most interesting characters in the game.

He serves as the final boss battle and you don't give his evil intentions a second thought, until AFTER you've beaten the game and see the endings. That's when you realize Marauder Shields was actually a hero the entire time.

And we killed him.

Definitely the most shocking realization in Mass Effect 3.
