Indeed he did... trying to warn us off. Trying... in vain... to stop us from going into the beam.

Subconciously, most of us have taken Marauder Shields' stance...we're refusing to give in, and accept that the ending(s) are the one(s) we are stuck with. We are holding our ground, and holding out hope that there is something more to come...
