I am on my NG+, I noticed that there was one open slot for a model ship on the top left corner of the 2nd case.  Ie the case on the right of the computer terminal.

I bought all the model ships in ME2 and ME3 so i was wondering if anyone knows which model is that missing one and where do i get it?

That's the Geth Fighter ship model. That one appears very late in the game, but I don't remember where I got it. Or.. wait, top left? Umm.

Did you play through Lair of the Shadow Broker?

yes i got the shadow broker ship model in ME2. can't remember if i picked it up in my vanguard playthrough though

The geth fighter and quarian live ship become avail after you do the geth dreadnaught mission, go to the shuttlebay and look on the market they are there somewhere

^Above^ - Neither of those is the ship in the upper left corner. I've got all slots filled except the upper left corner of the new display case.

The ship in the upper left corner of the (new) right hand display case is the Shadow Broker Base model.

It apparently did not transfer over from my ME2, or I didn't find it (in Liara's office?) or I didn't have it in ME2.

Doh it was the shadowbroker ship. I missed it when i was in the basement of the engineering deck.

im only missing one ship and i can't find it anywere.. i think its the sovereign one. bottom right on the showcase where u can see your bed etc from. ive looked all over the ship many times and its not there, not even in stores.. im playing the second time now with an me1-2 import.. is it even possible to get it in me3 if u missed it in me1?

And no, before anyone asks, you can't pull a Jean-Luc and break your model ships with a M-7 Avenger. I haven't seen any renegade interrupts for that.
