**POSSIBLE SPOILER FOR FOLKS STILL PLAYING** **SPOILER** **SPOILER**

Small issue. I have a playthrough where I told Kelly Chambers to "Change her Identity." When Cerberus invade the Citadel, they are unable to locate and kill her and "reward dialogue" with her that reinforces this.

However, later on in the game, the two Normandy Engineers (Gabby and the other guy) are talking about how she died and that Cerberus got her during the raid.

So I went back to the Citadel and checked at the docks and sure enough, she's still very much alive.

Hmmm don't remember getting the option to tell her to hide...how'd you get that? Think she snuffed it in mine...heard someway at the docks say they shot her in the head

I never heard the two talking about Kelly in my PT.

It's either the second or third dialogue option. And it's the lower one, just simply "Change your identity" or something like that.

Doesn't sound like it helped much. Think I would've prefer Kelly to having Traynor on the ship in ME3. Just to be able to see more fully the way ex-cerberus crew dealt with knowledge that TIM really was a bad dude. That and the fact my fish all died cos no-one fed them. Save the citizens of the galaxy from the Reapers? I couldn't even save my fish. My war cry shall be 'That's for bluey and stripey you big ugly space squid!'

Yeah, in the end (a lot) didn't matter... I was also pissed at the thought they were just fleshbags at the end.
Didn't you buy the fishtank VI?

Expensive for some fish. It was either that or weapon mods...went with the mods, more practical use (unless Reapers are afraid of a few guppies). Rather have a ships cat anyway, especially since that dog mech that wanders about the cargo hold is utterly useless.

The trigger is that you had her up to your cabin for dinner in ME2. So, she appeared in both my male Shep playthroughs, but as my FemShep was straight, Kelly wasn't around in ME3 on that one.

If you saved her in 2, she'll be in one of the cargo areas of the holding docks. The one with the medical bed. In the back staring at the wall. She also gives you your fish back from 2. Buy the fishtank VI. Totally worth it.

I like Traynor. Mostly her voice and her shy awkwardness around Shep sometimes, but I miss my Yeoman Chambers, man.

The worst thing about this is that Kelly does not show up on the Normandy Memorial Wall. That's just terrible.

I liked Kelly for sure but I wouldn't have minded Samantha as much if she was a switch-hitter like Kelly instead of only being a "lefty".

There are multiple problems with the Kelly dialogue in fact.

For one thing, I haven't managed to get the post identity change conversation where she asks if Shepard likes her new look and tells him her new name except once. Every subsequent time she skips that one and goes to the conversation about how she spied on him.

Additionally, she also will give you the brief dialogue "I heard about what Cerberus did during the coup." after the above conversation, even if you haven't gotten that far in the game.

As for what the OP is reporting, basically it seems to happen whenever you run through Ken and Gabby's dialogue. And like the above, sometimes it occurs before the Citadel mission.

I wanted to invite Kelly back onto the ship and keep Traynor. I think it could work out.

Not if she was killed by Cerberus (but that might be explained that her death is simply overheard and unverified). If she's killed by the Collectors, she's on the wall.

OK, my wife just asked why I had been staring into empty space and drooling for the last 5 minutes. *STOP DOING THAT TO ME!*

The whole Kelly side story is stupid and buggy beyond belief! I went there everytime after a mission and i never got this "identity dialog!" Then when i come back after the Cerberus attack, she was gone! AND DEAD

Why cant you just tell her to come aboard the Normandy! There's room enough!

Oh yeah, because then Jessica Chobot wouldn't have room to bother the hell out of me... Yay. <_<

the right answer is "no"

Perhaps that is a logical explanation, but actually this has been acknowledged by a developer in another thread as being a bug. :)

this is a very minor thing but i was amused that the bottom right dialogue wheel option which is generally associated with renegade is the one telling chambers to change her identity.
