IIRC they're from a quest you get if you examine everything lying about in the Zevran encounter?

Hmmm no, there is a quest "Friend from Red Jenny" that you get from the Zevran encounter, but the gloves are unrelated to that quest. I *think* you get them either by working with the crows or with slim couldry but can't tell for sure.

I just did the Zevran ambush scene last night, and I definitely looted the seekers from one of the corpses. It has nothing to do with the quest.

Red Jenny Seekers were given to me by the final reward in the questline where you help the crowes with a series of hits. I'm pretty sure.

hmm ok, yeah I already did the red jenny quest, it gave me like 3 gold, I'll go start the crow quest then

Though, if you play the Crow quests out to completion you get a much better set of gloves. +5% critical chance rather than 3% iirc

Hmm, perhaps. I'm pretty sure that's not what's equipped on Zevran now, and I remember replacing the earlier reward with the end reward because it was the same thing but better.

But maybe I got the names mixed up. In any case what you're looking for is at the end of Trial of Crows.

Hmmn the fourth quest Ignacio gives you should net you Red Jenny Seekers. Long quest line however, find some gloves in the meanwhile eh. Ignacio is in the tavern backroom in the market of Denerim.
