Does beating the game on Insanity change the ending at all?

How are people beating it on insanity? I struggled with Normal. Especially at the end when you are defending the missiles and their is nothing but banshees and brutes... :(

Insanity really isn't hard at all. In fact it's easier than ME2. I played it on hardcore my first playthrough, then insanity on my 2nd, and saw virtually no change. The A.I. may be a lot smarter in ME3, but without as many defenses, they're incredibly easy to crowd control.

The trick is to not let the A.I. get the chance to fan out. The bulk of a pack can pretty much be CC'd with a well placed Singularity at their spawn/drop point. the remaining just need a quick overload to drop barriers/shields. After that, Warp detonation, and the pack is either dead or dying. A quick mop up with cryo ammo, and you're done.

Now... Banshees.... That's a different story.

Insanity is only insane for a newly created char. Most people play imported characters. Playing an imported character on insanity seems to be easier than a new game on normal difficulty. Try it and you will see.

What class are you crimson? I didn't really have trouble defending the missles but the goddamn slow-mo before the beam took me forever.

Playing on an imported level 30 character with most of the DLC makes the game fairly easy on Insanity.

Dual Particle Rifles on your squadmates and a Chakram Launcher can deal with a lot.

Shepard is much more mobile, and biotics have gone back to being awesome. I found insanity pretty easy really. Yes with an imported character, but didn't use particle rifles.

Insanity is a joke now, especially for Engineers.
