I sent a tweet to their official page and this is the tweet and the reply I got;
User 4: "Are you holding something back, that could quell the large amount of frustration from the community, a tiny hint would be enough."
@masseffect: "Mike Gamble already said on his twitter, if the fans knew what was in store, the reaction would be different."
It gave me hope and although you could say I'm in denial or clinging to hope for DLC that will start with Shepard alive in the rubble back in London (Indoctrination theory) but with all that is going on I think that the hints are building and that soon we will know for sure what is going on. Also this is a couple more tweets I found that are possibly in the OP which if anything suggest something is going on;
User 2 - then I want to SEE that he was lying. I want to get up and finish the fight with Commander Shepard. Then retire.
Merizan - augh. want. to. discuss! Staying spoiler free for now
User 3 - But should've confronted the kid instead. Shep went meekly into the night.
Merizan - are you sure he went meekly into the night?

What if Kaiden is dead and in heaven while Shephard is in hell? I mean Kaiden says "Come down to see you today" after all.
This is sci-fi! Concrete spiritualism has no place in.. wait never mind.

nope, just started a new one, met Kaidan and there it was.
Weird, because I started a new game to use alongside the Datapad, and the first message I get is from Anderson right after leaving Earth.

Now if they planned it as a epilogue release, then that still annoys me but not as much.

No, the message from LI doesn't come at the end of the game.
It comes at the beginning immediately after meeting the LI, before meeting the Alliance Council.
You can check it if you have ME: Datapad.

And a person on another forum claimed they made endings like this because they wanted the game to be more realistic xD

Yeah, that argument gets thrown around a lot. I always make a point to shove it right back down the poster's throat.M.Abbott wrote...

How about just not being crap, that is all I ask for in an ending.

Mass Effect wasn't scifi as soon as you used your first spell I mean biotic ability.

Their discussion was about liking/disliking the ending actually. That "realistic" person claimed that we're all some bunch of whiny kids who accept no ending but the one with pink ponies and unicorns saving Shepard in the end for him/her to have a silly cutscene marrying his/her LI and that BioWare made these tragic endings for the sake of realism (since our outdoors reality is cruel and there can be no "silly hollywood happy end" there).CrasVox wrote...

But the idea they were hinting in their twitters or anywhere else gives hope for sure. And I prefer this hope not turning out to be empty later.

As for "why would Ashley/Kaiden send an unconscious Shepard an email?" I don't know, why would Shepard stand in a hospital room and talk to an unconscious Ashley/Kaiden?
Hold the line.

the player started another game and Kaiden sent a message to you saying if they could they'd like to see you.
like back when you are in isolation at the beginning.
Ashley i believe said something similar to me as well.

And by the way if this is true, it's not good, if they planned this. Then all those stupid jokes about DLCware and "only $15 dollars for the ending" will be true. You will literally be paying to see the end of the game. Not sure about you, but I'm not okay with that.
