Seriously I paid 80 bucks for a practically entire offline game and if the servers are offline I'm screwed?! Are you kidding me?!

Cut down on the swearing.
They really need to sticky it somewhere -- if the servers are down and all you want is singleplayer, kill all Origin process you got running through Task manager, disable your internet connection (via Control Panel or pulling out the cord or disabling wifi or what have you) and start the game directly from its desktop shortcut. It will complain it has no way to update Galactic Readiness but will otherwise function flawlessly.

Actually no because the DLCs won't authorize.

If you managed to get it online at least once, then it won't ask for authorization. If it's your first run, however, tough noogies. They did say that you need to get online at least once for activation.

It happens every run. If I do not connect to EA servers I cannot play the game.
