[Black Kracken]

I am having a very hard time controlling Shale.  He is always standing around, ignoring orders and his tactical directives.  Sometimes it feels like BG2 the way I have to micromanage him.

Anyone else have this problem?  Is it because his control rod is broken  ?

Not sure exactly what your problem might be. Are you switching between the group holding positiona nd following a lot? that can actually make characters stay still if your tactics are set wrong. IMO Shale is actually one of the easiest to control in game due to her having so few abilities per stance. Maybe adjust your behavioral setting and try to match one up with your tactics.

Maybe you have the wrong activation talent on. You have have the party-buff activation talent on Shale wont move.

Also, make sure she isn't set to "Ranged" in tactics by mistake.
