The Truth, hands down. It allows every mistake of the ending to be rectified.

I wouldn't mind the rescue as long as it was handled in a way that clearly would state that it was the indoctrination rather than actual ending. Actually the best possible scenario for me would have been the one where it played exactly the way it did but IF you chose to destroy the reapers, the game would still continue like you broke out from the indoctrination. That would have been _awesome_.

Ah... rumors.... the other word for disappointment, well, that and maybe the word "ending" >_>

Not believing any of it, but i would largely support "the rescue", im not in favor of changing the endings, maybe add new ones, but not changing whats already here, no matter how.... nonsensical some things are.

Maybe then id finally get to know who the hell invented teleportation >_>

Yeah I get the gist of a rescue, however I thought it was a theory, or is it not a fleshed out as the indoctrination/truth theory (which also has a few rumors to help it).

Doing a poll would so give me a better view on what most of us want. But I also want the Truth.

Yeah.

That's what the turian councilor said. And we all know what that resulted.

Thruth would be better, because I want ME3 to have the promised multiple endings according to your choices and the rescue just paints the one single, depressing ending a bit brighter.

Bingo. Keep everything that happened as Cannon, yet add MORE options. This is the best of both worlds.

We need to be able to choose to fight. Use the Catalyst to give yourself a fighting chance, let your War Assets duke it out and depending on your score you make enough of a difference to defeat the Reaper on your own terms.

The Truth, definitely. I'd settle for Rescue but I'd rather see a way of making the ending make sense...

Definitely the Truth. Star Child was terribad. Sorry to be so blunt, but the star child ending was just stupid. Rather than resolve our conflict with Harbinger as the "face" of the reaper menace carried over from ME2, and address the mystery of dark energy and Haestrom's sun, they introduced this last minute character that made no sense, that provided no closure, that you don't really care about defeating, and whose motivations are, to put it mildly, dumb (wipe out your species to keep your species from being wiped out... huzzah.)

I've wanted to kick Harbinger in his big metal daddy bag ever since the end of the last game. Dark energy provides a motivation for the reapers that puts a little (pseudo?)science into this science fiction epic. "The Truth" offers a good story, whether Shepard lives or dies. If that was the original ending and someone changed it to the star child steaming pile of crap after it was leaked, then that can only have been done as an unequivocal "screw you" to those who leaked and circulated it. The problem is, all of us paid the price for it.

That almost has to be what happened, too. BioWare is rightly famous for interactive story telling. Their writers are some of the best in the business, and they prove it with the 40 hours of brilliance that is ME3 before the ending. It defies imagination that this "star child" ending is something that was produced through their normal process - it seems that it can only be the result of a monkey wrench in the creative works.

If I were Casey Hudson, I would be 100% devoted to fixing this festering turd of an ending - not just as fan service, but because it is so far below their standards for interactive storytelling. It should be an issue of pride in their work.

There's no rescue dlc. How's ea going to sell that to ppl that didn't have Shepard live?

Canon hammer?

I don't like it, but I'd take anything to add more versatility to the ending at this point.

If the rumor is true it would be very ...interesting to see the reaction of game reviewers who are now praising the game for the great ending and bashing fans for wanting to change it. This thing alone (aside from the atrocity of the current endings) would make the "Truth" DLC desirable enough for me.
Art my ass >.<
