The Truth.
It'd actually solve everything, and allow anyone who is happy with the endings as they are to ignore it, and the rest of us to get something we'd hopefully all be happy with.
Rescue is just slapping a band aid on a mortal wound.
This is not a situation Bioware should be half-ars*ing. We need the proper, varied, satisfying, comprehensive endings we were promised, and an opportunity to actually save the ME universe.
Agreed.

I mean, if the game is all about choices, my choice was to play the game through fully. To painstakingly make sure I gathered every resource and ally possible. So why shouldn’t I get to ride off into the sunset with Liara/Ashley/Tali/etc? Why do all my allies actually get SCREWED by being stuck on earth?! Wrex never gets to see his son born. Tali never gets back to Ranoch. All the Quarians & Turians will die without food because they cannot eat Earth food. How about the Mass Relays actually act as destruction mechanisms to destroy the reapers in each system if I choose destroy? Is that as farfetched as, no matter WHAT I do, the Mass Relays all explode? I mean according to Arrival DLC, an exploded Mass Relay should destroy the system it is in. So therefore, ANY choice I make basically screws everyone. Systems get destroyed and my allies are all stranded. So ANY Choice I make, the reapers actually DO win!
And oh yeah, while I am on Truth…the truth is, I DON’T WANT TO HAVE TO PLAY MULTI-PLAYER TO GET MY RATING OVER 50%!!!! That is a total load of crud.

Either would be a breath of fresh air. This is one of the very few situations where you can look at storytelling and OBJECTIVELY say "that's poorly done." Very bizarre. So many weird things coming out of left field from Bioware. Still, I love ME3 on the whole.
Agreed, ME3 is like a cracked diamond in my opinion. It should've been gorgeous, but was ruined by such a minor detail.
...Can you fix cracked diamonds?
Wait a second...
...so would the truth allow my Shep to survive and adopt little turian babies with Garrus if my EMS is high enough? D:

Calling it Starkid feels wrong, Team StarKid is far to awesome to share the name with that kid god/AI/whatever.

It's perfectly acceptable however to say it was all an indoctrination attempt because it makes me NOT DEAD.
