As much as I would hate to say goodbye to that beautiful Shep/Anderson scene at the end, I would say "Truth". Anything to remove the StarChild/vent boy/annoying brat conversation at the end.

The Truth.

It'd actually solve everything, and allow anyone who is happy with the endings as they are to ignore it, and the rest of us to get something we'd hopefully all be happy with.

Rescue is just slapping a band aid on a mortal wound.

This is not a situation Bioware should be half-ars*ing. We need the proper, varied, satisfying, comprehensive endings we were promised, and an opportunity to actually save the ME universe.

Agreed.

All of the evidence I have found maks me think that the truth was the plan all along. I would be ok with the rescue as long as it also includes us finding and saving the normady crew.

Man, I don't care at this point, I just want an ending that involves being able to be with your LI at the end, whoever it may be, Kaidan, Liara, Garrus, whoever.

Truth, because of the Synthesis ending. I find it hard to accept as a legit ending to ME3.

the truth would make more sense in shep being a legend, since it should involve him waking up and start fighting again right away. instead of having to be saved from death again.

I don't believe it'll be either, but I would rather have the truth. The whole god-child and reapers existing to control the eternal synthetic/organic struggle just stinks to high heaven. It's unoriginal, badly written, and negates everything the series has been about upto that point.

Rescue only if the end result is reuniting with the Normandy and providing closure for Shepard and his/her love interest.

Otherwise, Truth.

Truth - Starkid is one of the worst endings in history.

Truth. Especially with stuff that makes war assets count. Not "destroy Reapers" button. I want them to be beaten by effort of joint galactic forces.

Either would be a breath of fresh air. This is one of the very few situations where you can look at storytelling and OBJECTIVELY say "that's poorly done." Very bizarre. So many weird things coming out of left field from Bioware. Still, I love ME3 on the whole.

Truth. But after all my playing time, after all the sweat I (figurateively) put into gathering all my allies: Reconciling the Quarians and Geth, saving the Krogan, gathering Turian support. How about I get rescued too?

I mean, if the game is all about choices, my choice was to play the game through fully. To painstakingly make sure I gathered every resource and ally possible. So why shouldn’t I get to ride off into the sunset with Liara/Ashley/Tali/etc? Why do all my allies actually get SCREWED by being stuck on earth?! Wrex never gets to see his son born. Tali never gets back to Ranoch. All the Quarians & Turians will die without food because they cannot eat Earth food. How about the Mass Relays actually act as destruction mechanisms to destroy the reapers in each system if I choose destroy? Is that as farfetched as, no matter WHAT I do, the Mass Relays all explode? I mean according to Arrival DLC, an exploded Mass Relay should destroy the system it is in. So therefore, ANY choice I make basically screws everyone. Systems get destroyed and my allies are all stranded. So ANY Choice I make, the reapers actually DO win!

And oh yeah, while I am on Truth…the truth is, I DON’T WANT TO HAVE TO PLAY MULTI-PLAYER TO GET MY RATING OVER 50%!!!! That is a total load of crud.

Agreed, ME3 is like a cracked diamond in my opinion. It should've been gorgeous, but was ruined by such a minor detail.

...Can you fix cracked diamonds?

Wait a second...

...so would the truth allow my Shep to survive and adopt little turian babies with Garrus if my EMS is high enough? D:

Going with the Truth, there are to many glaring plot holes for me to accept that as anything as a moment of insanity.

Truth, the rescue was with a bunch of other DLC that sounded highly, highly unlikely. Like the all romance DLC, or the play as Aria one.

The Truth, I want that Starchild off my game.

Calling it Starkid feels wrong, Team StarKid is far to awesome to share the name with that kid god/AI/whatever.

It's kind of hard to "rescue" my charred skeleton corpse from within the Crucible beam.

It's perfectly acceptable however to say it was all an indoctrination attempt because it makes me NOT DEAD.
