The Truth is a fresh chance for them to get it right. The Rescue would just give a badly conceived ending a chance to turn out a little happier. The flaws would still be there. So, the former.

Pretty much this. Like I've said before: the problem with the ending isn't that it's bittersweet/sad, it's that there are so many things that are just wrong about it.RebelByDesign wrote...

Anyway ME3 is an awesome game. I like it as it is even with these endings because I can continue the game before my heroes start the "Indoctrinated" mission on Cerberus station and so before they see how the Reapers don't do anything to stop Crucible flying and connecting with the Citadel (=

The ending of ME3 has already failed to me. If i have to buy DLC for a proper ending.....well thats just totally wrong.

Mordin moments appropriate in given circumstances. Endings far more hurtful than expected.

but between the 2 i'd pick the rescue. Didn't think the ending was bad it just wasn't what was deserved. Both Would show that the bloody God Child was lying and we were unconcious/being indoctrinated the entire time. And the Crucible would never have actually fired >.>

I'd be more inclined for 'The Truth' because it's more in line with the theme of the series. Plus, you can still be Shepard that way. The Rescue seemed a bit far out there in that only one ending could get that one.
not if you believe sheps stuck on earth look at the surroundings in this That's not metal and glass, that's Rubar and Concrete and hallucinating/dreaming the whole thing in some weird out of body experience
edit: fixed link
explanation edit. If that ending really has shepard stuck on earth and not on the citadel that means he/she never made it to the Citadel, which means the Crucible never Fired. Which means the Ending was already a fight against Indoctrination/death when that Harbinger death beam hit you. if just that 1 segment proves he's on earth not on the citadel it has to apply across all the endings as well.
edit of edit: It also doesn't necessarily mean he's indoctrinated or dead in the other endings. He could just be unconcious or resuccitated by traditional means by Anderson or another Rescue team. Rescue would flow better than out right replacing the ending because of this.
