I haven't read what the Rescue is. But the Truth said we're going back to the Collector base which is impossible, do people not read anything.

It mentioned the 'last remaining Collector Ship', not the base. Do people not... Etc.

I now believe strongly that Shepard is with his crew on the Normandy at the end, maybe in med bay. Therefore, that last shot of crew and Normandy IS the end. DLC will not be POST game, just like Bioware said it wouldn't. Instead, it will be a gap filler, rescuing Shepard, etc.

I'd prefer The Truth as that would make a better, more interesting story in the end. (If the following confrontation with Harbinger was well done and included squadmates.)

However, The Rescue would respect the players who like the current ending while allowing another option for those who don't. Truth would take an ending away.

A modified Truth. Pick up after the Shep/Anderson conversation. Shepard activates the Crucible and eliminates all reapers except Harbinger, being the oldest and strongest of them he would be somehow immune. Tali/Liara/Someone figures out that to destroy Harbinger the fight would have to be taken INSIDE him. Shepard and a squad go in, fight to Harbinger's power core, blow it up and escape.

Truth, baby.

If Bioware has the balls to fix that ending, for free, then they'll be game dev gods again.

If they fix it and charge, I'll still buy it, but only so I can still enjoy the series. After that, done with Bioware/EA games for pretty much ever. As this article on Forbes says, "pay us to make your game suck less" is a trick that only works once.

The Rescue, on the other hand, would canonize the crap we got, and although it would provide some closure, it's honestly better for all parties involved if they just have a do-over. I'm not even sure if I'd buy it.

Truth. Rescue wouldn't really solve much of the problems with the endings as they stand, and I'm not sure how it'd fit in with the whole "pick this option and Shepard disintegrates" control/synthesis stuff.
