The targets are too weak, u can't realy ascertain the weapons capabilities, just divide them to the catagories of ״sucks"and "don't suck". A weapon will reap the armor target in a single shot, but won't even tickle a brute or ravager in the field. The particle gun perform extremely well in the range, but realy bad in the field compared to other AR׳s.
We also need an access to targets with multiple defences, like armor+shield. So we can see a the weapon performs against marauders or sentinels.
Need better targets in the firing range

If you want to destroy everthing: M-99 Saber / Widow or Black Widow. You don't need a firing range to know that.

Targets need to be tougher, I would agree. There should be more targets too: barriers, organic health, synthetic health.
Additionally, the shield target seems to bugged since powers seem to frequently miss.

Lol particle rifle is insane especially once it goes super charge.

this is true there should be a console in the target range that allows you to up the durability of the targets or add defences to targets, it would be nice to be able to make the targets move as well, even if side to side is all you can do it would be nice if the target range allowed you to get a better feel for a gun

you need a firing range if you want to see the capabilities of different weapons on different targets, without being forced to take a new and unknown weapon in the field and finding out that it definitely not suitable to your needs.

I'm forced to disagree. don't get me wrong, I often use the PR as my or my companions main gun. but its strength is against the lighter targets, and it perfoms badly against the tougher targets since you're just standing in the open for like 10 seconds. combining it with marksman (to increase rate of fire), reduces your exposure time and give it a real boost to DPS. I found that the argus perfomes better in most situations (assuming u put a stability mod) even against tougher enemies.
