It's not obvious to me.
The entire reason they brought the Citadel to Earth was to surround it with their main force and keep people away.
Why in blazes would you do that then provide a back door?

I would suspect London is important as they built a conduit there.

It's not obvious to me.
The entire reason they brought the Citadel to Earth was to surround it with their main force and keep people away.
Why in blazes would you do that then provide a back door?

haha, yes I remember this. When Anderson first told me about this, I got all cozy.
"Oh man, oh man, what the hell is happening, something big is going on and I will be right in the middle of it!"

With the citadel flying over to earth, and all crazy stuff starting to happend at the end, I just forgot about it. But I would like to know what it was all about, because I love those moments in game when you know something really big is going to happend but you don't know what.

Yes, I really don't understand why the Reapers chosen London or even how Adernson was so sure that a final assault on a conduit that leads no telling where was the best option. Would have been so much simpler if the Normandy just used the stealth system to fly through that big gaping hole in the rear of the Citadel.
