My femshep shot Mordin with regret. Urdnot Wreave was blustering on about the galaxy paying for the genophage. What urks me is that it made no difference; the genophage was still cured magically.

I'd say the end has more than justified the means.

But at what cost?!? The second you start throwing your morals away, the second you lose sight of who you are for some proverbially "greater good"...

Is the second the enemy has already won.

Wait we can persuade him!? God damnit. I wish I had more renegade/paragon points. :(

I believe you only get the option to persuade him if Wreav is clan leader. I think Eve might have to die too. Otherwise you have to shoot him. Presumably with Wreav in change Mordin is able to see that the Krogan won't really change, whereas with Wrex and/or Eve he can see that they might have a future and thus refuses to give in.

Damnit.. I should have let Ashley shoot Wrex in ME1. Would have saved me some problems. But noooooo, I thought Wrex would be useful

Good thing that we have Javik's side on that and no reply from the ghosts. If someone sacrificed my unneccessarily for the "greater good" you bet I'd be pissed.
If the necessity came that I needed to sacrifice myself I'd do it, but if you would ask it of me I would give you nothing, but the bullet in my chamber.

So instead of near infinite krogan support due to the genophage being cured you get a few more salarian cruisers. After Sovreign and the geth decimating the council fleet. some years prior you would think to guess that having more biological meat to throw into the equation can slow the reapers down due to planet harvesting taking more time.

When compared with ships that will get destroyed by single beam-swipes i dont see how you can make such an erroneous judgement..

Yeah.. But the thing is, If someone is able to make that choice, they don't have to ask you.

In other news I got a wonderful letter from the Dalatrass, saying that they will have fabricated evidence claiming that the cure was flawed from the start, and keep fooling the Krogan.

I'm liking the Dalatrass more, and more.

That moment, It had all led up to this...I was prepared to shoot Mordin. I hadn't told anyone about the sabotage. Mordin notices the sabotage. and I tell him to back off. He refuses. I pull out my gun. *Now tears in my eyes* I tell him to stop one more time. He refuses again and starts walking. *Now ****ing sobbing* I have around 10 seconds to pull the trigger...and I can't do it. Now I ask you guys: How can a game about uniting the galaxy to face a common threat make someone into such a goddamn crybaby :/

I trust Wrex. I saw he had made progress in ME2. I saw that he was listening to the women who seemed to have a fair amount of power and would probably gain a heck of a lot more once they can carry children. They could literally hold the males hostage to do what they want, which is no more war, no retribution. I saw how they were the ones who came to wrex with ideas to help the krogan, GOOD IDEAS.

With Wrex and especially with Eve, they will become a better race. With Wreav, I always sabotage it because he's just nasty and wants war.

Also, if Wrex survives my playthough, I know a lot about him. He really cares about his race. He wants the best for his people. I save the data because I've seen the best in him and my hope is maybe other krogans are like him and one day they can get the cure.

If Wrex dies, I lean toward believing krogan are all they have been made out to be. I never got a chance to see the best in wrex and think differently of krogan. I think the genophage was smart and I think saving the data would be a bad idea.
