I see a lot of "nothing makes sense after getting shot by Harbinger" posts, so I'm curious to get some kind of idea of how the like ratios are here among the people who disliked the ending. Did you like the scene with TIM and only zoned out of the experience when the Starchild appeared? Or was literally everything after Harbinger a huge let down?

Personally I was hype all the way until I saw the Starchild. The scene with TIM and Anderson was absolutely great to me (logistics issues aside, but I didn't even think of that while playing).

I liked it a lot. Superb performance from Sheen.
The only thing left to explain is how he ended up there.

It was a worthy death for TIM. How it should have ended.

He was in the Citadel after warning the Reapers of your plans, how do you ALL forget this.

It was cool, but it didn't make any sense.

I loved it. The problem started with the appearance of the Star Child.

The Illusive man scene was wonderful! Probably the best part of the ending. They did a fantastic job of closing the Illusive Man story. I loved seeing his inner conflict, the fact that a man with such a strong will and personality was brought to submission due to his own greed and prejudice, and even at the end he was resisting more than any other organic could(with the exeption of Shepard).

To be honest, I thought everything up until the magic elevator was really good. It made me feel sorry for TIM, which is something I did not think I would feel, then the elevator ruined it.

Yes, I actually liked that scene. It's what followed that was a slap in the face.

But how did he get behind you? You just walked up that path, it came from a hallway that had nothing in it but dead bodies and a Keeper and the portal from London. Suddenly seconds after you walked through there TIM comes up from behind you through the door you had just walked through?

The scene was great, but it would have made a helluva a lot more sense if you'd gotten there to find TIM at the console trying to access the Reaper controls and Anderson already struggling against his voodoo-brain-mojo. Which also would have explained why Anderson stopped replying to you over the radio a few moments before.

That part was fantastic. There was choice, consistency, and while that scene ended sad it was still enjoyable. It was the Star Child scene that occurred immediately afterwards that people have problems with.

Loved it - especially if you start pushing down the "influence" path. You can so clearly see him trying to figure out what's real and what's not, what is true and what is just indoctrination. Even the way he commits suicide - when you think of Grayson and the subtle way in which he had to trick the Reapers before he could do something, you almost get the impression that he was trying to impress upon his masters that he was about to kill Anderson or Shepard and instead shot himself. Such a powerful ending. There's a reason why a lot of people said that a sufficient ending would've been "Anderson dies, Shepard is bathed in light, Reapers fall over dead"

It is a cool scene, Mr Sheen did an excellent job. It's just that the entire sequence after getting hit by Harby is very odd, I'm not sure it even happened.

I like it. I had high enough paragon/rep that I didn't need to shoot him. It was neat to see him go through and realise that he in in fact indoctrinated despite not thinking he is. It was a very good end that made me feel bad for him, despite the fact that I went into that wanting to kill him.

The layout of that platform is wrong.  There should've been three entrances - Anderson clearly wasn't in your hallway and neither was TIM.  There, you could have all three come from completely different directions.  It was a minor point, though, compared to the powerful scene that happened and the disaster that followed.

Not to bad. In my opinion it would have been really crazy if in the end you had to put a gun to your own head as a paragon choice.

Now THAT-would have been bitter sweat. Especially if your LI if applicable was there. Would have been heart wrenching to watch that.

Yeah, I think the final sequence with Anderson and TIM is one of the best moments of the trilogy. Martin Sheen did a great job, but I think Keith David delivered his best performance of the entire trilogy in that scene. I think he out acted Sheen, Meer and Hale.

Fan: "Because of you, ME3's ending is already ruined."
Bioware: "That's not true!"
Fan: "They have our money. They've got us hating each other instead of hating them."
Bioware: "I just need to..."
Fan: "You've done exactly what EA wanted. You're still doing it because they control you."
Bioware: "I... they're too strong."
Fan: "You're stronger. Don't let them win. Break their hold. Don't let them give ME3 a crappy ending."
Bioware: "I tried, fanbase."

But yes, Martin Sheen was amazing in that whole scene. Like others have said if it just ended with Anderson's death it would have saved us ten minutes of rage.

It was pretty damn good. Should have ended on that.
