Either that, or prior evidence that Reapers/Reaper agents with implants could control a single person's movements. As it was, it just seemed they needed some reason why Anderson hadn't hit the button and it became 'space magic' again.

The Tim scene was good, and the Anderson following scene was epic.

Loved that part, myself. It's one of the few things the Starchild scene did right too, in that Shep looked so out of breath and you could really tell how she was moments from falling over during the dialogue (which I suppose she also did in between the Anderson and Starchild scenes).Mr. Big Pimpin wrote...
Also the constant limping(...) was extremely annoying.

But I don't get where Anderson and TIM came from.

Then we went up the magic space elevator and sadness ensued.

- How did Shepard survive the blast anyway? A similar thing kills him/her outright multiple times in the game, and from smaller Reapers.
- Stumbing around as mortally wounded Shepard got tiresome quickly. And I had pathing glitches several times that made me have to do it all again (I know, not a plot point, but very aggrivating)
- How did anderson get to the control before Shepard when there is only one route? A small one I know, but confusing.
- "I've never seen this part of the Citadel before" While I can understand it's shape changing you'd think such a large, key are to the station would at least have been known about.
- How does TIM "control" Anderson or Shepard? The Cerberus research was all about controlling Reapers and indoctrinees. Shepard has Reaper tech inside him, but Anderson as well? This is the one that annoys me the most.
- Having to use a renegade interrupt to kill TIM and survive if you paragon score is not high enough. Why is it renegade to save the galaxy anyway? And why do you have to choose a renengade prompt not to die? I didn't choose it because I'm a paragon and "Game Over!" There should be a paragon one to shoot him as well.

you see reapers 1-shotting most of the ships they hit with that beam, and they probably have much more powerful kinetic barriers and plating than shepard's armor. it just makes no sense for him not to be disintegrated by that
hell, even a dreadnought was 2-shotted by a reaper while you were running from earth

I see a lot of "nothing makes sense after getting shot by Harbinger" posts, so I'm curious to get some kind of idea of how the like ratios are here among the people who disliked the ending. Did you like the scene with TIM and only zoned out of the experience when the Starchild appeared? Or was literally everything after Harbinger a huge let down?
Personally I was hype all the way until I saw the Starchild. The scene with TIM and Anderson was absolutely great to me (logistics issues aside, but I didn't even think of that while playing).
I liked it a lot.
Wasn't crazy about the lead up (Harbinger blast), but the scene itself was good.
