I cannot for the life of me get a reaper game going; every game I join that would qualify, I lose connection to the EA servers, and every game I can actually join and play the leader still has it set to unknown enemies, for some reason. Trying to create a game, we'll see how that goes.

ETA: Nope, dropped connection there too. Probably would have lost anyways, no one else thought the level 5 engineer needed to be kicked from a silver match.

I'm actually hoping for that or the sniper but I already know I'm going to get the SMG . Hell I would be fine with the pistol too. 

The Crusader is just a slug shotgun though...wouldn't the Graal or Geth Shotguns be better for that?

There are 2 advantages:

1.  The shot is instantaneous compared to the Graal or Geth Plasma Shotgun.
2.  Only ONE pellet needs to hit to do full damage.  Some may say the Katana does a bit more, but that's only if all 8 pellets hit.  Good luck getting a headshot with all 8 pellets.

It also has the disadvantage of having no damage dealt if that one slug misses.

Which brings me to another point...is it just me, or are Shotguns much harder to aim than Sniper Rifles?

Well, yes and no depending on the system your using. PC its a helluva lot harder to fight up close witha  shotgun then it is to snipe people with a rifle. Though I was sniping geth earlier with a geth plasma shotgun on xbox at medium range, was pretty hilarious poping one of those synthetics in the face witha  fully charged blast from so far away. BOOM! who needs a widow x.

 Each player can earn a maximum of one pack, and each pack contains a random N7 Arsenal Weapon.    Just one Commendation pack. This is likely only the first of this type of challenge though, so stay tuned.

So, just 1 pack now. 1 pack next week. 1 pack the other - best case scenario this is, and we get to upgrade those weapons to X in... 40 weeks. hmm

Yes, it has begun. Just restarted the game and upon entering multiplayer I got a message about the Goliath Operation.
