I love the idea of the event, but the execution leaves a bit to be desired. The lack of any ingame confirmation of any of it is a bit jarring. It would be really nice to see some sort of "Brutes Killed So Far" number, even if only updated ever couple hours or at specific benchmarks. Also, it would be nice to see a "Commendation pack earned!" message of some variety.

I cleared silver about a dozen times today, no disconnects all afternoon, works great for me. 

you might want to fix that yourself, because I don't think wating for someone else is gonna take care of it for you.

i had few of those and get this one failed on the last thing before wave 11 and the host left! and we had to re do the entire wave before then a person who just joined survives  decided to play  i am not going to let you get extracted and lets the timer runs out while taping and moving away from the  item to end the wave..

 good thing i did 2 silvers just incase people didn't have the information thing  enabled. and i found out  while playing my turian soldier that markmans+ revenant+ stability mod+ fully evolved turian skill that gives stability and cool down =swiss brutes and banshee cheese!

Did my part a few times today, thanks to the salarian engineer. Placed my decoy just right and soloed a banshee and brute while the rest of my team mopped up the trash! Extraction was, uh, ugly, let's just say.

I'll always use one or two in a match. If there's one Banshee left in level 10 or 11, and we're too busy mopping up other assorted junk, heck yeah I'll murder that banshee with a rocket.

USE YOUR ROCKETS PEOPLE. THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE THERE FOR!

Not to mention those equipment packs we can buy.... 5 of those babies and you can afford 1 for each completed silver match... Stock up till you get enough. Then start with the vet and spec packs. I usually don't use rockets, but playign with randoms this weekend has forced me to use them. People just don't know when to move and when to take cover.

Awesome... Another thing us PS3 users get the shaft on, like the facebook recruitment app... Thanks. Please fix this. I for one USED TO play Mass Effect games on my PC, gladly, up until this one, which is just better with multiplayer with a controller. That and the gamesharing made it possible for both my Fiance and I to download and play it together on each of our PS3s. So again, thanks.

So anyone else wish they could pick their N7 item? I dont know why, but for some reason I find the sound of the hurricane to be orgasmic. I would love to be able to use the thing in multiplayer. Seriously, kudos to the sound engineer.

Awww, why they can't to make N7 Valkyrie available in Co-op? This is the best asault rifle,that i have ever seen in Mass Effect!
Anyways, N7 Shotgun is the best one too.

Banshees are easy to take down... Just stay clear and if she comes for you RUN LIKE HELL. Take them down from a distance is the way to do it.

Now Brutes when they come in a group is what rockets are for... DEFINITELY use a rocket then. Had a group of three Brutes plus two banshees... that's when it's pucker time... Need to take them down fast then. If you don't need to use the rockets though, don't use them. There WILL come a time (usually the last but one round) where it gets hairy...

AND DON'T EVERYON E RUN TO THE EXTRACTION POINT WHEN EXTRACTION BEGINS... it's like a huge "COME EAT ALL YOU WANT BUFFET" if you all stand there hoping to survive. Stay as far away as possible until about 30 seconds until extraction and then move to the exfil point.

That was in the N7 Warfare pack, not the collector's edition pack (unless you was in with the UK GAME Screwup Pack). Actually if it wasn't for Game messing up I wouldn't have got the whole lot of N7 kit which seems silly for a Collector's Edition. I for one am glad GAME messed up heh.

Personally, I think I've "capped" about 20-40, with my teams easily well over a few hundred total.

It'd be interesting if they released names of the top Brute hunters. I bet there's some people out there with at least hundreds by their own weapon.

As is obvious to anyone who reads the OP, the difference is tha Commendation Pack contains one weapon from N7 series, while Victory pack contains no one knows what.

One team can kill approximately 30 brutes an hour(10 per 20 minute rounds). So it shouldn't be too long if heaps of people are playing, right?

I certainly do. I have no use for the Shotgun (already have a useless level V shotgun for tha matter) or the Sniper Rifle, since I generally don't use those types of weapons. So basically it's a 50% chance to get a useless reward And with my "RNG" luck, that 50% becomes more like 80%.
