edit: going to need to buy a lot of equipment packs, not going in there with just 5 missiles

 I'm confused about the end date.  The post says it ends 5AM PST Monday the 18th however the 18th is Sunday.  Does that mean it ends on Sunday the 18th at 5AM or does it end on Monday the 19th at 5AM?

You described in the FAQ what the Commendation Pack will contain, but not the Victory Pack. Is it more or less the same? Or something else?

How about if we kill 5 million brutes, we get extra endings for SP (randomly in packs, of course)?

I hope not. It's flat-out unfair that we enjoy the game as much and play as much as the PC/360 players but get left out of this. Unless they want to give us something since we don't even get a chance to earn it, kill your own brutes.

Can we get more of an explanation as to why PS3 players can't participate? Is this another Microsoft-Bethesda deal where you get paid to shaft a portion of your fanbase? I wouldn't blame you guys if that's the case, but just let us know what's going on. The barrage of vagueries is getting frustrating.

Tell it to Sony, because the consensus is that Sony doesn't want to work with developers to enable this kind of interaction.

I know we have to beat the Reapers once on silver. But do the brute kills all have to be on silver or can we play on bronze for example?

*Sigh*  I was totally about to go rally my group of friends and have a reaper killing party... then I read 360/pc only...

A little annoyed they we get left out of the super amazing awesome free weapons deal, but meh, guess I'll go play singleplayer.

I'm getting a bit sick of PS3 players getting repeatedly shafted. I was so excited when I read this post, then got to the small print at the bottom and felt completely deflated.

You really need to get your house in order and provide players across all formats the identical experience you promised. I'm not going to raise silly points about technical discrepancies (there is another place for that) but when we're talking about the content of the game it's another story.

As it stands we're paying the same amount of money for an inferior experience. And that is just wrong. The very least you could do is elaborate on the difficulties which are preventing you from giving PS3 users the same content as the 360 and PC players.

How many Brutes will spawn on any given Bronze match anyway? 6 maybe. 8 at most.
Go gold if you can!!! You'll get 4 Brutes at the very least every wave from wave 4 onwards.

I'm so glad you guys are going to do weekend/week-long events, like this promo and the special equipment pack this week. These are the kind of things that keep multiplayer alive well after the first few months from launch.

I don't even like the N7 weapons, but I'll be playing for them anyway, cause why not!

So... this all sounds very nice. Lovely even. I just wish it wouldn't coincide with the Server Maintenance. It's very, very laggy today, so far. Which I hope can be blamed solely on the Maintenance.

Don`t get me wrong, I love challenges like these, was one of the nicest things in Reach and Gears, I just find it odd that you would choose to put an event that will definitely strain the servers on the same day/days you also do Server Maintenance, as the servers will be unreachable during that time.

Oh, also, despite playing on Xbox 360, it does stink that PS3 owners cannot participate. No jibe, no sarcasm. Just a show of loyalty.
